Wonderful little gem in the heart of Ashcroft. Great variety of Cousine and flavours, fresh ingredients and generous portions. Family run, friendly & kind service. Fair prices. Highly recommend for a stopover and certainly for takeout and catering local events.

The food was great, however the service was abysmal. The waitress ignored part of our party when taking initial orders, never told us about any specials when taking our orders, Messed up on delivering our order to the chef so 2 of us weren't given the food we ordered until much later in the night, (The chef apologized, thankfully), She was very impatient when taking dishes away and tried to take away drinks and food that we were still eating/drinking and even took a plate of food out of one of our hands that we weren't finished with. Didn't even ask us if we wanted dessert. And ontop of all of that, she tried to get us to pay our bill without even giving us a bill and when we asked for it, there was no official print out or anything. Just the initial orders scribbled on a messy piece of paper. Quite unprofessional.Overall, severely disappointing.

We were attracted to the restaurant when we observed tables with chairs on a pseudo patio in front. We wanted to have a beer with our meal however we couldn't sit on the deck as it wasn't licensed until later on in the month (don't we all love gov't liquor controls). My traveling companion had the special and said it was all right, I had the pizza which had the right amount of ingredients on top however I found the base quite starchy.

Been here many times. Covid hurt the local business area and it shows but we keep coming back for cheeseburgers. Great simple and straightforward food. Outdoor area is my favorite. Today we did our Canadian prairie surf n turf Cheeseburger and beer batter fish n chips. Fresh, hot and yum.

We had a great dinner at Central Cafe! Tasty food and generous portions. The owner was very welcoming and the outdoor patio was a balmy 30 degrees with a slight breeze. This night there was a dj playing excellent dance music which just added to the summer evening ambiance. The other guests were enjoying the dance party! I would highly recommend a stop at this great eatery!!
