Very friendly staff and the probably the best haircut I’ve ever gotten by my hairdresser Ché. Would highly recommend seeing her if you want an amazing haircut.

This profile says my husband’s name but this review is written by me, Anna Marie Therrien.Ché worked a miracle on my fine hair.I went in after a very bad haircut that I got elsewhere.Ché could see where the problems were with the ‘botched’ cut and was in agreement with me as to the solution. I wanted to keep as much length as possible and Ché understood that subtle shaping and evening out was needed. She encouraged me to be patient until I had more length to work with.She knew exactly where I was coming from, which was keep the length and slowly shape it into the style I wanted, NOT to cut it shorter.Ché understands the challenges of fine hair very well!I just had my follow-up cut (2 months after the original repair) and it’s just beautiful. It’s hanging the way it should and looks amazing!Definitely a 5 Star stylist and a warm friendly gal!

Gorgeous atmosphere, talented technicians. The woman who does eyebrows is a wiz, I get my brows waxed and tinted and a lash tint every time I come for hair. It's a small thing, but it makes a huge difference, especially for blonde lashes and brows. She's gentle and effective, and she's got a knack for perfect shaping.Che does my hair, and she's phenomenal. I knew when she started working in Port Hope it was only a matter of time before she had a very hefty client list and a sizable wait for an appointment with her, and here we are because she is just amazing at what she does. She listens, she takes into account the clients skin tone and coloring, and she knocks the cut and color out of the park every. Single. Time.I have never left a salon completely happy until I started sitting in her chair.She's especially talented with all varieties of curls and color correcting. She fixed my brassy disaster and made it a silvery dream, and then when I decided to go dark, she gave me the perfect, rich, beautiful shade. She's a treat to work with, and I'd be extremely reluctant to let anybody else ever touch my hair after having her exercise her high caliber techniques on my mane. If I absolutely needed something done and she weren't available, I'd let any of the women at Gloss work with my hair before anyone, anywhere else, because they're a super talented, dynamic group.I heavily endorse my girl Che, she's a queen and a master of her craft, and she leaves me beaming with confidence and thrilled with my hair every time she lays her gifted hands on it!

Cannot stress enough how welcoming it was when I showed up and how amazing the atmosphere is! Che did WONDERS on my hair, all my 24 years I’ve never liked a haircut I’ve got and Che has changed that completely, I felt instantly like I’ve known her and all the girls there for years and she made my hair visions come to life! Will never be going anywhere else for my hair again!

Most validating haircut I have ever had. I've struggled to find someone who understands long curly/wavy hair and Ché was out of this world! Understanding, caring and very knowledgeable, giving many hair tips as well! 5/5, will recommend to anyone who struggles to find someone who is amazing at cutting textured hair!

Ché is AMAZING!!! She listened to what I was looking for and provided feedback. Her skills, creativity and knowledge exceeded my expectations. I LOVE my haircut and highlights, they compliment my skin and eyes just like she said it would. I highly recommend Ché!!!
