This family run business, is honest, kind, compassionate and skilled at what they do! I had a small emergency with the lining stuck in my boot and the zipper was jammed! I came to the store and the cobbler, immediately checked my boot (which was still stuck in my leg) and could see only the top part was caught in the zipper. He was able to dislodge the lining and was so kind to cut the top part of the lining so this would not happen to me again. Hard to find this level of Kindness and integrity. I came here after receiving very poor support from another cobbler on 2nd avenue. Thank you again Progressive Shoes! Will be back again

Needed a last minute fix on my sandals before leaving for a wedding, and these folks did a fantastic job! Not only did the threading on the leather strap look original, they also reinforced the other shoe to match. I will definitely be back in the case of other shoe repairs!

Took my shoe here for sole repair! Amazing job, super comfy again and craftsmanship is superb! Looks brand new! Finding a good cobbler nowadays is quite hard! Hope he sticks around for a long time! We bring my other shoes in!

I took my favourite pair of Fluevogs to Progressive in the hope that they could revive my soles better than the original manufacturer was able to after two attempts. I just picked them up and am thrilled with the work - my favourite shoes have been given a new lease on life and I'll get another at least another 3 years with them! From the pics below you will see that the only original sole is the small section in front of the heel. The workmanship is outstanding!

They are awesome here.My lovely dogs chewed all the zippers of my new west elm couch cushions.Needless to say I thought about adopting them… decided to keep them and repair the cushions. Progressive shoe had the right sewing machine for this project and repaired extremely quick and looks like nothing ever happened :) zipper matches 100% which they had to order.110% would go back.If you read any of the 1 star reviews they definitely wrote a review on the wrong store.

I took a pair of Cougar boots I thought I'd have to throw out to this shop. When I picked them up they were practically brand new. They fixed the inside and bottom of the heels, cleaned them so they didn't look worn, and even made the material on the inside softer somehow. They also seamlessly fixed the zipper on another boot. I was very impressed.

I've been going here for 15 years. They're the best! I'm always amazed by how good the finished result is. I went to another place once (Quick Cobbler) and the work was so sloppy in comparison.

These folks do an amazing job at almost any shoe repair you take them. I have taken them sandals with badly broken straps, boots and shoes that needed significant resoling and heels, and even one pair of boots were the heels were too high and they managed to cut them down to a comfortable level. They’re very knowledgeable and workmanship is second tonone. When Candace gives you back your shoes or boots, they look like new. I have been going to this shop for over 10 years and now drive over 35 minutes just to get there. They are worth it!!
