Cycle Whistler

Great e-bikes but rude customer service. We rented 5 e-bikes to ride around Whistler, but one member in my group was struggling with using the e-bike from the get-go. One of the staff members noticed this before we even left the rental location.We literally rode 3 shops past the rental location before deciding that we should return the bike of our struggling group member for their safety. We explained the situation and asked if we could only take 4 e-bikes (which are $50/bike for two hours), instead of 5, but the staff member rudely replied that “it’s not [their] fault that she didn’t know her skill level before signing the waiver” before walking away, and offering no refund or exchange for a regular bike.We understand if they have a no-refund policy, but the rude response was uncalled for and made us feel unhappy with our experience with this company.As other reviews have stated, they are money-driven and do not care for their customer’s safety. Would have been nice to have been offered a different bike (like a regular one) that would fit the person’s skill level better than an e-bike, as the motor propels riders quite fast.Helmet policy was also unclear and another staff member scoffed at us and told us that we should have read it better, in a very condescending tone, then proceeded to say that many customers have problems reading. If this is happening to multiple customers, the company should consider rewording the policy.

Rented a bike and got told I was driving recklessly and over the speed limit when the fasted it went was 35 km and the speed limit was 30. Manager spoke extremely rude and when we asked for clarification I was answered in a rude manner and told that if I haven’t driven a motorcycle I should not be driving the e-bike. I’m not sure when this became a rule or regulation and after telling him I have not he told us how to start the bike and ran away with no further clarification. Completely let down by my experience at this shop specially coming from Toronto to have a good time in whistler. I was charged a extra $200 for “reckless driving” but I stayed in my own lane, went the speed limit and went only where the car goes. Just confused on how this company chooses its management as they have no concern about the riders or respect while speaking to their customer. Will never return again to this shop and recommend no one else does either. It’s a SCAM

I came to Cycle Whistler already having full confidence in the store as I also go their in Winter when it operates as Underground Tuning. Yohann, the owner, 100% backs up his product and his Summer offering did not disappoint. I rented Ebikes for myself and my girlfriend to ride around on the Valley trail and the pricing was very competitive. Instructions on how to use the Ebike were clear and informative and helped my girlfriend gain more confidence during the ride. With the Ebike we were able to get around much more and get to the top of Rainbow for the panorama in no time. I will be coming back again soon to try the tandem option.

The Bike are ok, but you better find another place with mountain bikes, these ones are really exhausting of you want to go far. The lady attendant was terrible. Worst attitude possible for Service, In addition she literally refused to give us trail maps inspite of asking for it. She made up a whole story about the company supplying them stopping printing. As I came back and pointed out she was handing off maps to other customers, she was surprised I noticed & made up another story about borrowing them from the hotel. Terrible, just terrible!!

When we came to Whistler we had a hard time trying to find E-Bikes that we’re affordable as my group had only wanted to rent them out for 2-3 hours as that is all it takes to go through the bicycle trails. Most shops were renting them out for $100+ to be used for 4 hours or for the entire day which was quite an unnecessary amount of time especially for ebikes that can go up to 30km/hr. Luckily we were able to find this place right outside Olympic Park and we really liked that we were able to rent them by the hour and not forced to rent them out for the day. The staff there were friendly and explained how to use them properly. The male staff member gave us directions to this bike path and it was absolutely amazing as the path had an amazing view of the mountains and led us to green lake. I will be sure to bring other friends to this location in the future.

Best ebike rental in Whistler. They have the best bikes (cool looking with comfortable seats) and the best prices. Amazing customer service as well. They give you a map with all the trail options. You can rent for 4 hours or 24 hours and you don't have to decide until the end of the 4 hours, very flexible.

We enjoyed our experience with Cycle Whistler. The customer service was great and they provided us with helpful information about where we should go. The only thing was that one of the bikes didn’t seem to be very well maintained… it worked fine but it was quite noisy and didn’t ride as smoothly as the other bike we had rented. Overall we enjoyed them and would go back!

The best place to rent a bike. The bike selection is amazing, all their bikes are customized to be more user-friendly and comfortable to ride.Pricing is great, the e-bikes can let you see all of whistler in 1/3 of the time of a normal bike; WELL WORTH the extra few bucks.The thing that stands out the most from this shop is the customer service. Soon as you walk in, you will be greeted with hospitality and kindness, its almost a warming feeling as its not the generic hospitality fake voice you get at other places in the village but talked to as a friend.The entire staff on June 19th,2022 was great. If you want to rent E-bikes in whistler don't rent from anyone else. Josh is amazing and his service is the best. They rent great reliable bikes. A full day rental is actually a full 24hr day!! Best all around service I've ever had!! Thanks!!!

My wife and I hired a couple of bikes for the afternoon. The shop couldn't have been more helpful, the bikes were super and there route recommendations were perfect. Lovely people providing great service!
