Kilmory Resort

The site location and cabin we had were excellent. Quiet and very scenic area. Only thing I could say negative is no convenience store in the immediate area, which is no fault of the resort. Then again it's only a 25km drive to Goodies for anything you may have forgot to pack.

Just spent two nights at this beautiful place with our son and two granddaughters. We stayed in cabin #6 the large two bedroom and it was so beautiful and clean with lots of space for all to enjoy. We loved exploring the area and will definitely go back in the summer when the pool is open so the kids can enjoy the pool. Beautiful weekend getaway. Thanks so much!

Had a wonderful 2 day getaway in Cabin 2. The cabin was well cleaned when we arrived. The view was excellent and the setting was very peaceful. Even though the cabins around us were booked the trees on either side gave both visual privacy and created a sound barrier. We thought we would take advantage of the setting and rent a kayak, but in the end we were too relaxed sitting on the front porch to do any of that. Staff were friendly and helpful. The heated pool was excellent and we also took advantage of the jet tub in our cabin. We will certainly be back!

Cabin was nice and staff were accomdating, however No Cellular Services were available in case of an emergency and little to no internet. Swimming pool location was poorly planned, down stairs, across beach and back up to a small pool. No shops or other services in the area.

Nice cabins. A little dated but very cozy. We had a fire on the beach, rented kayaks and a canoe, and hung out at the pool. We had a fun little baycation, staff were super friendly and very helpful. They even lent us a couple of dvds for our stay. Will definitely go again.

Beautiful location however the cabins are a nightmare. There is absolutely no place t prepare food! No counter space and only the table to put anything on. The fridge is so small and low to the floor you had to get on your knees to put food in and take out. Lighting is so poor that you cant read a book! The bedding needs to be totally replaced(the mattress however was excellent)and the cabin was not clean! Dog or cat hair everywhere! Just clean the place for the love of god. The couch and chair was way too big for the space add the over sized end tables left no space to move around. No internet or cell service . At $209 per night plus tax its way over the top. This could be a great spot but not as it is. If you just want to go for a beer weekend with the boys it maybe fine enough but when you are charging over 200 per night plus tax bring on your best game. Well maybe this is the best you have.... O by the way you need new kitchen gear. pans are worn out and over sized for the stove, everything is fine if your making hotdogs but if you want to expand your customer base you have to improve! And for gods sake can you clean up the dog hair! Again great location great potential sad cabins.

The cottages were cozy and comfortable. Repeat stays in the future for sure.

Kilmory resort was nice and I would go again. We saw birds and seals, and just down the road there's an antique car museum. At night the stars were absolutely beautiful. The down side was the stairs to the beaches through the cabins was barred off, and the other stairs up by the office were steep so if you have any knee issues you might find this a bit difficult. There was a sign for a warf but it looked like the warf washed away. In this area there was no easy way to get on the beach, but the view was nice regardless. Wifi in the cabin was not good, and cell service was not available unless you go to the cell service tree. There was also instructions to boil the tap water, but they provided us with a large jug of drinking water which was nice. I would recommend going on the fall, the colors of the trees are beautiful and there seemed to be a number of empty cabins.

It is a very beautiful and tranquil place. Wifi was excellent but cell service is limited in the area. The cabins are clean and well maintained. The views are absolutely breathtaking.
