Been working in the local film industry as a background for 5+ years now. I was told to sign up with them when I first started, because I was told they do much of the commercials here. Emailed them a few times and no response.Most recently I decided to switch gears and focus on commercial work, left my BG agency of many years (ShowBiz, they are great). Finally got a response from Local Color through a friend, went in, signed all the intake paperwork. A week later, the owner (Glenn) emailed me out of the blue and said they wouldn’t represent me, with ZERO reasons given.Performers’ times are valuable, we all appreciate it when agencies and organizations don’t waste our time!

Great agent. I used them for background and commercials and they always worked hard and found work for me. They have a pretty big roster, but it doesn’t seem to stop them from doing a good job. A highly recommended background and commercial agent!

Very basic website

The best talent agency in Vancouver. They provide their clients with jobs in feature movies, TV shows and commercial. It looks like all commercial are in Local Color. I’ve been working with them for 1 year already.

Great Agency. I got started with Local colour a year and a half ago, since I have been apart of the agency they have always kept me very busy with work. They get the most non union commercials which can be fun, quick days that pay well!! The only downside I guess is they are a bigger agency so sometimes you can get overlooked. Also I wish they would have more than one payment option. The only way to get your money is going into the office to get your cheque during specified hours of the week. Other than that, extremely professional and hard working. Fairly understanding and great reputation in the industry.
