We cannot eat rice and noodles and neither corn starch due to our dietary restrictions.They strictly said they cannot serve tofu without frying it...(Understand that it goes mushy when you stir fry; but, we just asked to get the cut tofu on the side and they denied)We were mentally ready to order only stir fry, but it was a huge disappointment...there was 60% celery to it! Like half of the dish was celery!The chicken stir fry was just tasting like boiled chicken! They do not marinate the chicken either. Just cut the pieces and stir fry. There's no flavor to their chicken.The good thing is they give consomme which tastes good on the better side...Disappointment!

I came here with my mom and we wasted $64. The fried rice was bland and mushy, the vegetable chow mein had soggy noodles with vegetables just thrown on top. It wasn’t even mixed together. The shrimp and vegetables tasted like boiled water and salt. Which we paid almost $16 for one serving which apparently comes with only 8 tiny pieces of shrimp and the rest is all vegetables. The presentation was terrible. Do not go here, open your food and taste it before you leave. The portions were small and not good quality food for the outrageous prices. Do not waste your money here, unless you like it!

Ginger beef is bathed in a super sweet syrup that is way too sweet. Pan fried shrimp is very skimpy on the shrimpy.More onions than anything. The other sauces once again were over the top sweet.The other dishes were good.

Grew up in Winnipeg being a Hungs Garden regular well before they moved to Regent Ave. Have since moved out of province and was back visiting so of course had to reacquaint myself with my favourite Chinese restaurant. Ordered my usual Harvest in the Snow, Koo Loo chicken and Ginger Beef. Wow just as good as I remember from 5 years ago. Very flavourful, fresh and scrumptious…did not want it to end!

Has to take the cake for worst Chinese food on this end of the city. KP mall has better food with more flavor. I've never had such sad looking, unseasoned food before. Wouldn't recommend to anyone anywhere. The reviews of this place must be made by the owners because there's no WAY anyone would rank this a 4 or 5.

Have been a customer here for years and would have previously recommended Hung’s to anyone. However, my last few orders have had noticeably smaller portion sizes as well as the dishes not being as flavourful as before. The prices also seem to increase every few months. I understand inflation, and that Chinese food is generally more expensive but 70$ for 4 dishes is extreme. The staff are still very kind with great customer service but I will be definitely be looking for new options. Disappointing as this place used to be amazing.
