Canine Kingdom

I take my dog everyday during the week, it's better then leaving her home alone all day, especially because she is a puppy. Friendly staff and informative. Whenever I ask about my dogs day they can inform me on many aspects of her day. I love seeing pictures of my little one throughout the day on Facebook and snapchat. I also love that I can pay for passes and services online, makes it easier then calling in especially if the staff are busy.

I’ve been taking my puppy here for the last 2 years for daycare. My puppy is an anxious type who initially needed gentle encouragement to familiarize herself with the daycare setting. Initially, there was leash pulling at drop off. This resolved very quickly, as the staff at Canine Kingdom have done a spectacular job grouping her with other dogs with similar temperaments, given her all of the love/ attention she desires, and in no time my puppy became comfortable. Now, when it’s time to drop her off, my puppy will bark incessantly until I let her out of the car, tail-wagging happy to see each staff member, and walks away with them without looking back (at me). Sometimes I wonder if she will ever want to return home ;).Despite my puppy being familiar with the daycare, I was worried she would be anxious with boarding. She had her first boarding experience this weekend and she happily ate, played and slept without any concerns. They were kind enough to respond to my check-in texts to see how she was doing. I now feel fully confident to go on vacations and not have to worry about her.I appreciate all of the hard work the staff at Canine Kingdom do to keep my puppy safe and happy!

Canine Kingdom is the absolute best dog daycare place in Edmonton! Our dog Chloe goes to daycare twice a week and occasionally stays overnight if we are going out of town, and she always is super well taken care of and has tons of fun. I can't stress enough how amazing this place is. All of the staff are extremely knowledgeable about dogs, love dogs and clearly know how to create a fun and engaging environment. They go above and beyond by posting pictures of your dog throughout the day, doing special photos on the dog birthdays, sending you report cards and giving updates about how the dogs are doing. I have been going to Canine Kingdom for years and I will miss this place terribly since I will be moving to Calgary soon. I know Chloe will also miss this place a lot and can only hope we'll find a place that is as good as this one! Thank you so much for everything, Canine Kingdom!

My Dog loves this place. She always has a smile on her face and now that she has a pal, she’s super stoked to play to her hearts content. All the people I’ve dealt with have been super friendly and professional.

We have been taking our boy here for about 4 months once a week and he LOVES it. When I am taking him and ask him if he is excited for daycare, he cries and wanders around until we leave, just so excited to see his friends. The staff are all super friendly, know his name, know my name, easy communication (text, pet portal, phone, email) and overall just the best service. I brought in pupcakes for my boys birthday and they threw him a little party. They are always are taking and posting photos so you feel a bit included in their day. My pup is always tired when he gets home which is the best.

I have been taking my pug here for daycare since he was old enough to attend ! He gets so excited to jump in the car every single day and cries of excitement when we pull up to Canine Kingdom. I am so grateful for the peace of mind I have about his well being while I am at work or running errands. He's also been for several sleepovers and it has been a wonderful experience each time. The snapchat & instagram are also a wonderful feature - I have so many amazing photos of my fur baby! I am so grateful for Canine Kingdom :)

Desperately wish we would’ve had a better experience here. Our almost 1 year old Aussie went in the other day for an assessment. We were a bit skeptic because you are not allowed to enter the building but our other friends dogs loved canine kingdom so we decided to trust them. We didn’t feel very welcomed upon arrival and the girl at the door didn’t even smile or say hi to our pup and seemed more concerned about us being able to pick up gus at their convenience. After 40 minutes we were told to come and pick up gus because he was anxious which reasonably so in a new environment with a lot of dogs, we wanted to leave him there longer to give him a fair chance to warm up but the texts we received concerned us so we had decided to leave work to pick him up. I tried to get more details from the first girl about his behaviour and we were told he did not want to interact what so ever and was “jumping up the walls” which is very unlike our boy. The owner very politely allowed us to see footage from his assessment which they told us they don’t normally do but for that we were grateful as the way they described our dogs behaviour wasnt adding up. Looking at the footage it was super sad to see our dog wanting to interact but was just hesitant as the other dogs had him surrounded at times (not in a bad way but anyone would be confused/hesitant surrounded by new people), I was very confused what the issue was as Gus did show some interest but understandably he was anxious but you could see he wanted to make an effort.Really wish they would’ve given our boy more time to warm up and more one on one time with the staff and more time with just a couple dogs so he could be more acquainted before entering the larger area, as I know he would’ve loved it there.. I would only suggest this place if your dog is already well socialized with other dogs. The owner did hear our concerns and I hope going forward they try to spend more time with new dogs to comfort them in a new environment.

Our Birdie loves it here and can't speak highly enough of how accommodating and easy to do business with Canine Kingdom is. Any of staff we have met is delightful and we are so happy to know our dog is loved and well taken care of when she is there.

Whenever we visit family in Edmonton, we bring our dog here. Amazing staff. But most importantly Kenai loves it and is always tired at the end of the day. Just like we tell Kenai, it’s like family, a family of many different types of dogs who seem to love each other! Many thanks to all at Canine Kingdom. We will see you in a few months when we return. Nova has been going here since she was just a baby.. it used to be more regular but due to being laid off we weren’t in need of daycare as often and now I have started a new job on the opposite end of the city so Nova goes to a different centre but we will always bring Nova to Canine for her boarding. She loves the staff and it *almost* makes us cry when she doesn’t even look back at us during drop off… “bye mom.. I got things to do”We recently had flights cancelled and ended up in California for 48 more hours than we planned..and the staff were amazing….no issues keeping her longer… They answered my “helicopter mom” questions and made me less anxious about being away from her for this long… the Christmas pictures made me cry!! Nova came home with a gorgeous ornament and a new toy from her friend… I am absolutely in love with Canine Kingdom and I am so so grateful that Nova has a home away from home.. thank you all so much.
