Butter chicken and paneer peshwai sauce is waaaaayyy too sweet, no spice at all, not even mild. Should offer different heat levels. Samosas are soggy, not crisp. Very disappointing attempt at finding a new Indian restaurant given the high reviews.

Food is good but prices are bit on higher side compared to similar restaurants. However they are on Groupon and with that deal it is worth it. Seating is very limited so you may end up waiting in case there are 3 groups dining.

I had the Maratha Lunch Thali and all items in the thali were tasty and fresh . I also had Fish Pakoda which was very tasty with the chutney .. The person in the counter was friendly and welcoming food was served hot and with in 10 mins or ordering .small nice place .. but the roof was all dark black colour..making it a bit depressing but may be it just me .. others may like it .I would definitely go back for the good food.they could improve on the music.

The Great Maratha serves up good tasting Indian curries catered for the general populace. If you want bold flavours, this is the place. It has been nearly 3 years since our last supper from here, and we figured it was time to refresh.Butter Chicken is a staple of our Indian food experience, and the bowl here has a bold sweet note within the thick creamy tomato curry. The spices are fragrant but quite mild & not overpowering. Most of the chicken was moist though a few pieces tasted dry perhaps from being left too long on the tandoor. The curry sauce is a highlight that never disappoints. We always ask for their fresh Garlic Naan bread to soak up the wonderful flavours of the curries.Lamb Khorma is another regular order, with mostly tender lamb meat cooked in rich cashew gravy tempered in cardamom powder. The golden curry sauce came as advertised permeating cardamom aroma, and was slightly spicier than the Butter Chicken. Both bowls were filled with plenty of meat as they seemed to have enhanced their protein portions. On the other hand, Gulab Jamun only contained 2 pcs that I would've traded for a couple more naans.The curry flavours alone are worth the order when we can safely dine out again. Great Maratha has found a niche by toning down the spice & heat in order to offer Indian dishes that everyone can enjoy.

Food is decent but dont expect much meat in the curries. I was dissapointed that their was probably 5 small pieces of meat in each curry. Their naan is not the best. The only positive thing is that there was flavour in the curry.

Friendly staff. The meat portions are very small compared to the prices. The curry/gravy is good. The biriyani and the meat itself was a bit disappointing. I hope it was just a one time thing.

Amazing place to have your lunch or dinner with low budget. It’s clean and hygienic. Food is very delicious and their service is always quick. Staff is very well mannered and friendly Specially Ajeeth and Naynish… I love to have my food here, feels like home ……

Ordered twice from this place - we got the Tomato Soup and the Manchow Soup. Both were exceptionally prepared, and just what we needed. This really is THE place for soups. They're prepared fresh to order and are really, really tasty :)

an honest review,some of the worst food I ever had.These people are no cooks.There is lots of videos on youtube how to make great Indian food.Why dont you look at some?The Butter chicken was made out of chicken drumsticks and super hard.The Chicken tikka was rock hard tasteless and watery.The naan bread was also not so good.Another waste of my money.Rip off!
