They were very unprofessional to deal with. Many things that were told to me were false and misleading. The communication was terrible and I continuously had to keep after them for many things that I was told would be done and looked after and were not. I discussed with my salesman Tyler thing like appliances, finishes etc. when I had decided on which mobile home I was purchasing. Tyler told me that he would be in touch about 6 weeks before my mobile was to be built to do the final choices. I had to contact him and he was surprised to hear from me, so had I not contacted him I would have had alot of things I did not want. I did end up with finishes I did not pick but was told I had choosen anyway.I had issues with the refrigerator that I hadn't choosen and did not work in my kitchen I could not open the freezer all the way. When I saw the pictures before it got delivered I ask Tyler to change the fridge for the one I wanted. He said he would look after it when my mobile reached my place. Did not happen I hounded him for months. When the other fridge finally arrived he told me I could keep the original one for all of the trouble. When they delivered my 2nd fridge his brother told me that was not the case and took the other fridge with him. I was also told by Tyler that the fridge was the same size is the original one whiçh it was quiet a bit smaller. When I contacted them about it I was told that it was goodwill on their part and basically I am stuck with it.My biggest regret is that I trusted them to much and thought they were honest. The best thing I would advice people to do is hold back 10% until you are completely satisfied or you will not get what you deserve and have paid for.

Well we are looking at putting a modular on our property, I sent an email to inquire roughly on a cost.Their reply well depends on your foundation and this and that... Really!You would know the cost of that size with the foundation type ( only 2!) so how could you not know the standard cost for foundation type with out extras or changes. You say what is included and what’s not on your site and you can’t come up with even a rough cost on a certain home????

Huge thanks to Tyler for organizing the delivery of double wide mobile home to our island property. I'm very impressed with the quality of the home and professionalism of all staff who transported it and did the excellent finishing work. A special thanks to Tyler for his patience, quick response and expertise in answering all my questions. I am very happy with the home and would highly recommend this company.

After purchasing a 250k home my wife and i were treated very badly and that is being very conservative. Our experience with this company was awful. I would advise anyone contemplating using them to really do your homework first . If anyone would like details i am happy to share if you msg me.no gold stars for this company!

In March 2017 we approached Al and his sons Tyler and Joel regarding the purchase of our Modular home. After having an extensive tour of all their homes and given clear information on the purchasing procedure we ordered our home. We made some changes to the layout and ordered many options to make it our own. A time line was set up so we knew when to have our foundation ready for the delivery of our home. As planned the home arrived safe and sound and on time. As with any other home we have purchased there were a few things that needed to be fixed. These items were addressed in a courteous and timely fashion. It has been 8 months since we moved in and we couldn't be happier with our home or the service we received. Thanks guys.

We purchased a single wide from Tyler at Amco homes in the summer of 2017. The company was friendly and professional to deal with. In particular, when we were choosing options, Tyler had a great knowledge of Moduline's pricing and was able to suggest alternatives. The home was built exactly as spec'd and delivered to our site in the fall and we are now very comfortably living in it. I am particularly impressed with the energy efficiency of the home. We've just helped finish helping my father-in-law move in to an Amco Modular home and I can't say enough positive things about their customer service. From Tyler in the Nanaimo office who facilitated the purchase and answered all of our questions, to Ross who spent several days on site in Powell River to ensure all the final touches that we were aware of (and even some that we weren't) were corrected and completed, we felt well taken care of during the entire purchase process. These guys have been a pleasure to deal with!

At first I wasn't sure if it would be possible to locate a modular home on our property but the concept was the most practical for our purposes, so we decided to give it a try. Peter assured me that they could do it. I was hopeful, but had reservations. Working against the weather and the terrain, the crew persevered, and with the help of an excavator and a very skilled truck driver, they accomplished the near impossible. The customized Cottonwood plan with a sundeck is now settled in to a setting that looks like it was meant for it. The job didn't stop there. The finishing crew and subtrades came in to complete the home to perfection. It is hard to imagine that a few months ago this home was sitting on display in a totally different location.

So far we are extremely happy with our Amco modular home. We placed our order in June and it was delivered to the site in October, longer than anticipated but worth the wait. Al, Joel and Ross have been very helpful and a pleasure to work with. Moving in during winter we noticed right away how well insulated and draft free it was. Everyone who visits loves our new home/layout and is very impressed with how well built it is. Our park model arrived last May and we couldn't be happier with our new home and the service we received. Tyler was great to deal with as we're the rest of the Amco employees. We were assisted every step of the way answering our many" emails and phone calls promptly and professionally as we went through the design process. Our set up and small repairs due to shipping were also done quickly and to our satisfaction. We have recommended Amco Homes to others in the past and will continue to do so in the future."
