Great shop! Bought a handgun from them and it was fairly priced, even with the rush on handguns we saw a few months back. I wish they sold bulk ammo but besides that, love it here!

I've been purchasing outdoors gear from Swamp Donkey for several years now. I've always had the best service compared to a big box store. The staff are very knowledgeable and willing to help even when the store in busy. I've enjoyed the laid back family atmosphere and happy it was retained at the new retail location. Martin definitely is top notch when it comes to archery knowledge!

Martin has come through for me countless times.His shop had the only source of Black powder and pistol powder for my needs and countless factory loaded ammo options, including reloading projectiles. He also had some of the nicest surplus Beretta 92s I have seen. His prices are extremely fair, with no price gouging! His consignment fees are the lowest I have ever heard of. Great staff that are always there to assist you as the store is very popular. Give them a try! Tell them Sean sent you.

The only place I shop for firearms, ammunition and other items. The only way I buy elsewhere is if they don't have it, but that's very rare. Swamp Donkey almost always has what other stores wish they had. I've been a very happy customer for over 2 years now. Martin, Guy and JP are awesome to deal with. So much knowledge and experience.

Great service, selection, and prices. Customer service is fantastic. I recently purchased some match ammo online that had gone out of stock, but hadn't been updated on their website yet. They were extremely quick to contact me to resolve the issue.

I love this place. Extremely knowledgeable and very nice staff. If you're new to shooting, they educate you and offer advice. It feels like a local shop vs. A big box store where people are just there to get you in and out for a pay cheque. They spend the time with you to show you all the options. I highly highly reccomend this place

My friend just picked up a Henry 22 long rifle lever action and was impressed with the little store so decided to introduce me to the little store as another potential customer. I was very impressed at the beginning until I purchased a box of 22lr ammo and the tall skinny guy was very upset about the 2% merchant fee on $57.75 which is only $1.15. He actually rudely said, you just cost me 2%.You owe me 2% next visit." I almost started laughing right in front of him because of how petty that was. My friend and I definitely laughed afterwards. My friend purchased the same box of ammo with cash and he got short changed 25 cents. Imagine that. My friend was also quite disgusted about the rude attitude and just how it was handled so unprofessionally just after he spent $700.00 on his Henry. The PC Money Account card that I have is a debit/credit card so it all depends on which system is being used and how it reads the card. I mentioned this to him but his system read it as a credit card unfortunately. I find it very sad that someone would cry other spilt milk. I went back in right away and gave $1.20 petty change in hopes to stop the crying. Not a good way to attract new customers. Will I be back? Not really sure at this point. They are definitely very knowledgeable but I would rather have good customer service than someone who is extremely knowledgeable

Bit on the pricey side, but otherwise a few bargains found, and he does have stock of some harder to find items. This is a new store front business. SDO has some growing pains. Merchandising needs work otherwise a great 2nd option besides just P&D in town.

Visited for the first time today. Fantastic store with a fantastic selection. They have things no one else has, and plenty of ammo, especially in rare calibers. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Feels more like going to a club rather than a store.I'll be making this my go to for firearms, supplies, and accessories in the future.

Martin is very knowledgeable and honest to what ever he does, it’s hard to find person like him in this field.
