Wychwood Farmers Market

Saturday Farmers market is awesome. 8am to 1pm, Food, live Music, Freshness, Kids Pool area, Dog Park, not crowded. Try the croissant filled with creme, deep fried and rolled in Cinnamon sugar. OMG!

One of the best farmers markets in the city and year ‘round too. A great place to buy locally sourced produce and artisanal foods.

The Wychwood Barns Farmers' Market is one of the best in the city. Great organic produce at this time of year. We bought russet apples, heirloom tomatoes and eggs. We've already eaten half the russets; they're my fave apples. The market runs each Saturday, outside in the spring-fall, indoors during the winter. You'll find bread, cheese, fish & seafood, meat, Forbes wild foods (amazing forest mushroom selection) as well as vendors with beeswax candles, clothing and even jewelry. With the artist live-work studios in one of the former streetcar barns, there's always something to take in at this spot, even a community art gallery. The STOP sponsors the market, so all goes to support hunger relief for those who are food insecure.

“Natural Japan eats” is a stand not to miss with their delicious mochi, inari pouches and handmade jumbo sushi rolls. Everything is made fresh and with love. The market is adorable with lots of produce, breads, specialty items and cuisines to try!

I always enjoy my visits to the farm, it's as close as I can get. Always come away with my bike panier full of fresh fruit and vegetables. Today O purchased gala apples and pears; a head each of red and green lettuce, arugula, mixed greens, carrots, tomatoes and thyme!

Tons of interesting and delicious vendors selling gourmet products. Last time, I bought mouth watering salami & cheese from an Ontario farmer (plus a bottle of crisp pear cider). There's live music too! Highlight to the Saturday.

always good selection of vendors to get fresh produce. some items can be more expensive than the grocery store, however supports 'local' vendors instead of larger corporations

I love this place. The farmers are friendly and have truly unique and healthy items. If you want organic or gluten free, lots to choose from.
