A beautiful encounter with Lake Superior. It's not unusual to have the whole beach to yourself. Many rock and fossil formations can be found which are unique to this area, as well as legendary 'lake glass.' Fantastic Casque Isles hiking trails connect to both ends of the beach. Always a treat and a wonderful subject for photography.

Very clean nice walk, clean picnic benches, clean bathroom. Very quiet which is nice, also nice views for photograhs and walks.

Gorgeous view of lake Superior. Beautiful place to sit and relax or go exploring. Also good for fishing, plus if you can stand the cold you go swimming
