Rhora's Nut Farm & Nursery

I have bought trees from Rhora's Nut Farm for a few years. I have had good success with my trees and have always received excellent stock. My only loose was to careless mowing.I recommend this nursery.

Shipped plants with dead, black roots, and promised via email to send replacements. Next spring come and gone, no word and no trees.

Great plants, and good selection. I had a few questions about the trees I purchased before and after I ordered. Both times I found their customer service was excellent.

I purchased 12 trees from Rhora's Nut Farm and Nursery in 2015. Their selection is good, but the service and quality are poor. About 25% of the trees sent were smaller than the minimum size indicated for the range that I paid for. In addition, two of the trees were wrapped so tightly that their bark was stripped and cut during packing/shipping. The roots were tiny and dried. After following all instructions for pre-soaking, 4 of them still died. When I contacted the owner by email asking for replacement or refund they refused to answer.They also require all shipments to play a flat rate for shipping and claim they will refund any unused portion, but never send a receipt for shipping costs or offer any refund.UPDATE- Around a year after my experience, Mr. Rhora got in touch and offered to refund the cost of the trees which died. He was polite and true to his word.

I've ordered 1 Korean Pine from them and it arrived very healthy and in good shape. I planted it and sadly it didn't survive.I can't blame it on them because I planted it in full sun without knowing it needed to be protected from full sun until fully established, like a regular sapling in the forest.They offered me a replacement tree and I'll take good care of it when I plant it next season.
