Masala Hut
First time visiting parksville and decided to try food at Masalahut. Impressed with the quality and the taste of the food. I’ve eaten at many Indian restaurants around the lower mainland, but gotta say this was the closest I got to in terms of the taste if to compare with authentic Indian food. Different spice levels to choose with, we opted for extra hot and were happy with how it tasted. Would come here again for sure.

Masala Hut
We ordered the chicken coconut curry, lamb korma, and palak paneer; and also naan bread. All the dishes were excellent. Both the chicken and lamb were decently portioned and were very flavourful. The naan bread was large, enough to scoop the main dishes.We went well after regular lunch hour timing, and were surprised that staff were able to make fresh meals so quickly. Table service was great also.A hidden gem.

Some of the absolute best indian food you will find anywhere. Make sure to try the madras"... it is a dish you won't find at other indian restaurants. I had the lamb. Masala hut makes excellent and very tender lamb. All their dishes are great. Huge

This is an excellent Indian restaurant. We have always had great food from here and keep coming back. We love the butter chicken, and palak paneer. The garlic naan is great too, sometimes a little bit tough. Overall delicious food at a decent price!

Masala Hut
We were there tonight and we so enjoyed seeing AJ again. He’s the owner and host. We both had butter chicken, one medium one mild and it’s the best we’ve ever had. Oh the garlic Naan is humongous and of course brought some home.. huge helpings of chicken, large pieces. They don’t skimp. Well worth going there, and we have enough for lunch tomorrow.. Thanks AJ

Exceptionally good with reasonable pricing. Pretty much everything made in house including the tamarind sauce.Ordered basic meal of mango lassie, samosas and butter chicken. Will definitely return to try the other curries.

The food was pretty good, and came pretty quickly as the restaurant was empty aside from us. The server was informative about the food to cater to dietary restrictions. Also, good to note that their sides of rice are quite large; I've also gotten takeout from them before and we had a lot of leftover rice because we ordered too much.

Take out was great. The fella there was super friendly and we had a glass of wine while we waited. Fair pricing and high quality. Really liked it.

Very poor customer service. No welcome for Indian customers. Didn't check how the food is after serving them. We ordered medium of spice level to be hot but they gave us superrr hot food where we couldn't enjoy eating them. After informing them about it didn't even say sorry even just for curtosy knowing the food is unbearably hot to eat. We went with a child. Not willing to give the go box right container for the curry. Only after demanding and explaining the container came.

Masala Hut
Stopped in last night based on all the great reviews and I definitely was not let down. The staff was amazing and the Lamb Curry was some of the best I have ever had. I can't wait to stop in for a meal again next time I visit the Island and I am in the area.
