Delicious! Portions were decent. The burrata was a great starter for 3 people. My dad and sister had the local clam spaghetti. I had the crab ravioli with the scallops add on. Although the spaghetti was tasty, I think the crab ravioli (in photo) was the most loved. Excellent view of the harbour. Classy joint. We will be back for pizza next.

Beautifully appointed, great views and friendly service! We were able to squeeze in on a Friday early evening without a reservation! We were asked in 1.15 would be enough as they had a table coming in and that suited us just fine! The food was tasty and fresh! The cocktails were pretty delightful! It was a great meal all around!

Food was fantastic. Loved watching the boats out the window. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and went above and beyond. It was the only place we returned to for a second meal while in the area.

Incredible meal. My husband is a foodie and the joy on his face as he ate each course was wonderful to watch. We will definitely be back and bring friends. This meal was the highlight of our trip to Gibsons.

The restaurant has a view of the active harbour. The 7 pm Saturday sitting was busy. The music and crowds made the dining room quite noisy.We had the Crab Ravioli and GF spaghetti Bolognese with Cesar salads and large garlic cube croutons. We ended with the gelato and creme brule for desert. The food was excellent and our server was attentive. Very nice, we'll be back.

Buono is a hidden gem of the Sunshine Coast. Chef Mike is very friendly and greets you upon entry as the kitchen is open and inviting. The traditional Italian cuisine is flavourful and authentic tasting. The server Amy was very knowledgeable and friendly. The combination of the waterfront views and unique menu are worth the visit. Highly recommend checking it out if in the Sunshine Coast!

We had an extended vacation in Gibson’s and had the delight of dinning at Buono Osteria 4 times. The owners and staff were warm and welcoming with great client services.The food and wine was spectacular and we dined on many of the selections on their menu. Their small plate options were varied and incredible, a couple of stand outs were the duck liver pate, the burrata and the carpaccio. The wood fired pizzas were amazing too!We would definitely recommend and dine in again if back on the Sunshine Coast.Amazing and thank you for a job well done.

We can’t say enough good things about the dinner we had this evening @ Buono Osteria. We were horrendously late for the last reservation of the evening because of a severely delayed ferry at the beginning of the holiday weekend. The restaurant kept the kitchen open for us and insisted we take our time making food decisions. We couldn’t believe how accommodating and nice they were being despite us feeling terrible about keeping anyone late.We all loved our meals, especially those scallops! The pasta special was to die for. Our server was very sweet and the GM is so hilarious - she really made our experience that much better. We will absolutely be back.
