Brad agreed to follow the list of maintenance tasks posted on his employer website, which I printed out before his arrival. He was polite, answered all my questions and offered explanations when asked. He cleaned thoroughly the unit cabinet, the furnace filters' cases and other components. I provided him with rags suitable for cleaning the wet components. He explained the readings on his testing instruments. I was very pleased with his performance.

Brad took care of the maintenance of our heating system (gas boiler). He is not only a very friendly and courteous person but also very competent and diligent in what he is doing! Always a pleasure to have scheduled maintenance with him. He also looked after our AC unit in summer.

My furnace was over 20 years old and gave up. Decided to replace AC at the same time as it was also showing signs of age. I went with a brand sales rep Joe recommended that is rated highly in Consumer Reports. I like their advice as the findings are not compromised by advertising dollars. Joe also calculated a slightly smaller capacity burner was needed whereas other installers I contacted just asked what I currently had. Joe properly took into consideration upgrades to insulation, etc. Oversizing a furnace is not good.Installation went well but the following day I had some concerns. This is where companies set themselves apart, sale is complete so they are happy and can leave you hanging. Fortunately, this was not the case. Joe listened to my concerns and scheduled a tech immediately to investigate. The tech Amir arrived quickly and showed some settings that we changed that took care of the issue. The last two nights were -25C and the furnace performed great. Joe was right about the size.

Empower installed a new PV hot water tank for me, the technicians were friendly, knowledgeable and really detail oriented. They had a drop sheet laid out to keep my floors safe and clean and tidied up after the job. Farzad was very nice and patient, he taught me how to adjust the temperature and every thing after. The techs took my reliance rental tank back to the warehouse with them to be returned. I feel really happy that I have a brand new water heater and reassured knowing that Empower will be returning the tank for me on my behalf. I definitely will be recommending Empower to everyone!

This is the second house where I had Enerhome team install a Goodman furnace. Nice people who really seem to like and know what they are doing. The installer Ray took his time to make sure the furnace is working properly and that I know how to use it. Highly recommended.

A few weeks ago the annual heating system maintenance was completed by the Empower technician, Brad Amiri. Brad reviewed all the checkpoints that were completed by him, with me afterwards. One of the the items was a surprise to me: there were signs of a water leak in the Ventor Motor and rust deposits underneath it. He touched one of the hoses and showed water on his gloved finger. This motor expels water and gases during the normal furnace operation and it's critical that it operate at peak performance. He said that if it's not replaced, the side effects of leaking water and gases, such as carbon monoxide would be hazardous to our health.Empower scheduled for the replacement of the motor which was still covered by the manufacturer's warranty and Brad returned within 12 days to replace the motor. In the meantime I was having doubts that that the motor needed replacement. My house had undergone extensive renovations 10 months ago, and there were side effects from the renovation that I was still dealing with, and I wondered that this could be another side effect.When Brad started to open up the furnace, I suggested that we check again for the water leak; at this point the furnace had been operating every day and I expected to see signs of the leak. He couldn't find any signs, at which point I suggested we cancel the motor replacement, I would still pay the regular service fee for his visit, money which I consider well spent, as he reviewed with me the Water and Air filtration system and made some suggestions that helped me reduce the moisture in my windows. To conclude his inspection, I signed a hand written form supplied by Brad wherein I took responsibility for the cancellation of the replacement motor, and that I understood the safety risks that I was exposing to myself and my family.Brad also was very insistent that I install carbon monoxide detectors upstairs and downstairs, which I did the very next day.As for the Ventor Motor, I will be checking it every month for leaks and if any are found, I will schedule it's replacement with Empower.

My 20 y/o Carrier 80 (low efficiency) furnace broke down so I called Tommy @ Empower to have it replaced. Within 2 days (my choice) The technician Masoud arrived- he was very professional and friendly and answered all of my questions I had about the installation, including the furnace, humidifier, and location of the intake/exhaust pipes. I'm very happy with the service provided and I hope to soon see the savings from my new high efficiency furnace!I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Empower if you are looking for a reputable company that stands behind their products, and at the same time offers competitive pricing & fulfils Ontario energy rebates.All the best to the team!
