Bow River Fly Fishing Company

Luke took my husband and I out for a city guided tour on the Bow River. I have never used a fly fishing rod and had little to no knowledge of the sport but, by the end, thanks to Luke I want to continue to fly fish and improve. It was wonderful. Luke was extremely knowledgeable, encouraging, and patient. The 6 hours on the river felt like an hour because of the great conversation, and gorgeous views. I would recommend this experience to anyone who wants to try fly fishing or wants a great experience on the Bow River. Two enthusiastic thumbs up from this northern B.C. resident.

The Bow River team provided a great experience in the Half Day Learn to Fly Fish Float. Luke was our guide for the day and was was willing to teach and share his experiences regardless of your level - we were beginners. We highly recommend.

Scott and Luke were excellent guides, they taught us how to cast, provided all the equipment, food and drinks were also included which makes the day real easy for inexperienced fly fishermen. We had a group of 6 guys in three different boats and it was an awesome experience...highly recommend using this company.

It was our first time experiencing fly fishing. Luke was our guide for the day and was very patient, knowledgeable, and a lot fun! My son even managed to catch some trout along the way. The best guides and one of the most iconic and scenic rivers in the world! Huge trout, gorgeous scenery, and the most knowledgeable guides anywhere! Caught 10 fish over 20 inches in 4 days! Yah, Dana and his team of guides really are that good.

Great day today on the beautiful Bow River today with Scott. Wanted to learn more technical aspects of fishing the Bow and Scott delivered, and we caught fish. If my hook set had been better, hihihihi, would have caught more!!! Only had a fish scale to show for the one sipper!!! Don’t hesitate to book with this guide service!!

Booked a tour for my Wife's birthday as a surprise. From the first point of contact, I knew right away that I had made the right choice booking with these guys. Scott was very informative and flexible with his schedule of getting us on the river. As our booking was getting close, we were reached out to about the potentially bad weather for our day and was able to find a date that worked for both of us very quickly.After arriving at our launch location, all of the equipment needed for our float was supplied and on hand. We didn't need our own rods or waders ( but we could have used them if we wanted of course.)The equipment was great quality and set up properly. During the adventure we learned so much about the river and what to look for as beginners as well as how to properly cast and what to use for flys.They absolutely under promised and over delivered for us and we will 100% be returning customers.The chit chat during our float was fun and hilarious and we even had lunch prepared for us. such an amazing experience.
