Costco Wholesale

I was in Costco today and had my father who happens to be a SENIOR CITIZEN.. a black senior citizen at that. For whatever reason, he decided to go and try to check out without me. (He did not understand the membership part.) He quickly came to find me because when he got to the till the lady with long red hair, I think her name was Janet to be a exact had said to him “you have no business being in here without a membership.” Once again, whether you meant it as a RACIAL SLUR, just know, that is how my father took it. I hope this company throws it back to the very basics for all of their staff. Whether somebody has a membership or not, “you have no right being in here…” WAS NOT THE WAY TO SAY IT! I am so displeased and disgusted as I am visiting from Alberta and continue to realize how BACKWARDS and BEHIND Nova Scotia still is!!!! JANET, I hope they put you back to stocking shelves. THAT WAS NO TYPE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE… you need to learn how to treat people. My father who is a senior citizen, also an immigrant was very offended. I’ll never bring him back to this Costco location again. DO BETTER!

Easy parking but like any grocery store you need to know your prices to ensure you are getting the best deal. Cooked chicken was a great price at 7.99. other markets are selling them at 12.99. will continue to shop here but not for my weekly groceries as bulking buying is not for me.

Certain items are on sale, such as prepackaged bread and cakes, branded discount clothes. Fresh fish is a little more expensive. visa credit cards are not allowed.

We went in Wednesday night to get a membership and were blown away by the customer service! Cody was absolutely fantastic. He explained everything clearly and we didn’t feel pressured at all. We ended up getting the Mastercard and executive membership. Top level customer service is hard to come by so we were extremely impressed and grateful to have been able to meet him. He made our whole experience that night 5 stars.

Store well stocked.Found the handicap parking, very difficult to use. When backing out,it was difficult due to amount of traffic.Would be better at another location on the lot, instead of driveway entrance.Staff friendly and helpful.

Great Value Toothpaste Laundry Detergent Meds We are only 2 People But it’s always great to Stock up on Bulk Buying,line ups can be long and NOTE Propane Tank Fill up is Super Cheap $10 Average and for the Cost of Membership which was Only $60 for both my spouse and me that’s great the Additional $60 Credit received after joining was a Bonus as well So we literally got membership for Free Be Well All and Happy Shopping

Great selection of high quality items. Some huge savings to be had on essentials. Some Kirkland items as good or better than brand names. Important to take advantage of savings, especially with the rising cost of groceries.

Great store. Good prices. Excellent staff. Always busy, but you can be in and out in 20 minutes if you're there to just buy stuff.

I tried to visit at 230pm on Sun 13 Nov. There wasn't a single parking space available and when I entered the lineup for the checkouts was right to the back of the store. Is this Costco always this busy on Sunday afternoons?! I left without shopping.

Great if you have a family to feed not so much for a couple unless you have the space to store the extras or a deep freezer. Paper products can be found at a better price with store flyers. Make sure you do some comparison shopping. Parking has a lot of spaces so this shouldn't be a problem.
