First Choice Haircutters

Refused to cut my hair because I have “hair tinsel” also known as “fairy hair”. Hair tinsel can be taken out, it’s not permanent but it is time consuming to take out and put back. Most salons offer hair tinsel these days. How embarrassing of First Choice!

Went here after going to a different salon where I left unsatisfied and hoped First Choice would be able to help with the issues I had. The girl that actually cut my hair here only made it worse by using texture shears on my hair and absolutely shredding it! I do bleach my hair and did have notable damage when I went here that the stylist even pointed out. I ended up going to a 3rd salon and had to spend $150 there for them to fix the issues this salon had caused... Will not be returning here and definitely would not recommend!

New to the area and having grown out my hair to get a layered Bob, I ducked into this convenient location. OMG... the hairdresser didn't listen to a word I said. She didn't seem to understand English and just started chopping. I had to nearly wrestle with her to stop! I asked to have the one other hairdresser take over when she was done with her client. She agreed. She couldn't fix it and started a new cutting process... What a disaster. Utterly incompetent staff. Stay away if you value your dignity. Wow...

$67 for wash cut n style - soaking wet back, hair hacked like hay.The one star review below must be the exact same hairdresser we had. Thick accent. Unwilling to listen. Hacked hair like hay in a field.My daughter will never trust a hairdresser again!

I have taken all 3 of my kids to the place on hurontario street. All 3 did not get what they asked for. My oldest son just came home with what looks like a mullet. I'm so angry and so is he. He showed her 2 pictures and his hair looks awful. I will have to spend more money and take him somewhere else to try and get it fixed now. Took my 5 year old there months back and I pointed to a cut I wanted on him in a huge picture right beside where she was cutting his hair. He left with almost no hair. So short I might as well just buzzed it and saved my money. My daughter said a small trim and some layers they did a hack job on her hair and cut off way to much of it. I had to take her somewhere else to get it fixed. I'm done. I like to give extra chances as people have off days but first choice needs to replace some of their staff at this location. Or at least do a better job of making sure they can cut hair. Cause the employees in there clearly cannot!!

I thought trimming 2 inches off a long bob would be easy for a stylist. She cut as if it was her first day on the job. She didn't blend the ends at all. Just chopped it off. There are a couple of longer tufts sticking out from underneath here and there. Not worth the $27. I won't go back

Amazing haircut at the price of so low! The hairdressers were kind and experienced. Best haircut I’ve had so far.

My niece went here to get her hair cut and they said she had headlice. She did not have it and got her hair cut elsewhere. Never go here.

Awful haircut, stylist asked me if I would like blow dried at extra fee. I agreed. My hair was still dripping when she finished and I left. Yet I was charged for this service. Not to mention the extra 3 inches I did not ask to be chopped off my hair. I have a literal mushroom cut now and want to die

The worst haircut I’ve ever had. I made a huge mistake coming here. Totally uneven. A real mess. I came back and asked a different stylist to fix it and she made it even worse and charged me for it. I asked her to wet my hair before cutting it again and she gave me a few squirts from a water bottle that barely wet my hair. Hair should never be cut dry. I have my son’s wedding coming up and I don’t know what I’m going to do to try and get it fixed. I won’t ever go back there again.
