Great food, not a lot of parking (large parking area next door is NOT for guests at Oriental Palace), so be prepared to walk. Walk is worth it!!

The server was not friendly at all that he didn’t even have basic customer service skills. The two dishes in the photo are Spicy Palace Chicken (top) and Sweet and Sour Chicken. Unfortunately, both taste almost like the same and coated with this thick sweet glaze that I had to keep drinking water wash down the over-sweetness. The fried rice was bland sprinkled with minimal ingredients. Authentic Chinese food? Not even close.

After trying 2 other restaurants that were closed, we found this one. It was very family-friendly. They gave us tons of delicious food (but they did warn us we'd have leftovers). They gave us boxes to take the rest home. The ginger beef was crispy and wasn't spicy like the menu indicated, which was a pleasant surprise for us. The staff was friendly and prompt. The food came out really quick and was hot. The chicken fried rice was made with good chunks of moist chicken, not just the dry leftover bits. The Shanghai noodles were yummy. The lemon chicken was crispy and the sauce was flavorful. If you have 8 or more people, the gratuity is 15 percent. My only criticism is that the sink in the women's bathroom didn't fully turn on. That's it!

Portion sizes are great here (see photos). Food is flavourful, though doesn’t seem very fresh and the sauce is pretty syrupy. I’ll eat here again if I’m craving Chinese food in the valley, but won’t make a point to stop by every time I’m in the area.

Oh my, not as advertised! Quaint spot, friendly staff but not at all fresh or authentic. Rice overcooked. Pineapple sweet and sour chicken was pre-made and not heated through enough before serving. Hot and sour soup (one of my all time favorite soups, ever) was neither hot nor sour. I asked for red vinegar to try and salvage it but not even that could save it. Could not eat more than two spoon fulls. They were kind enough not to charge me for it though. The spring rolls were not authentic" nor were they made in house. They were a pre-made frozen bulk item that was not heated through enough before serving. Could not finish this item either. I am from Vancouver and Richmond BC where I am used to truly authentic Chinese food (tripe

Wife and I have been coming here for about 15 years whenever we are in the Valley. Has changed owners a couple of times but the food has remained the same high quality. This is a Western Chinese Food restaurant that does a great job so do not expect authentic Chinese Food. My wife who is Asian loves the food just as much as I do, but we understand what we are getting when you come to the Valley. The ginger chicken and soy sauce chow mein was delicious. I have had the sweet and sour pork, deep fried prawns and fried rice in the past and they were all delicious.

I ordered Dry garlic pork spare ribs and crispy noodles chow me in. It was not spare ribs but instead pork backbone w/ meat. That wasn't very pleasant, knowing the establishment has been there for 30 years.

Ok place. Not the best food Ihave had thpugh and there is a demand for a tip if you bring a large group. I get tipping but shouldn't that be based on what you get for service? I don't know.I have always tipped well and sometimes more than the meal.
