I absolutely love this studio and I’ve been member there for 7 years. I love the atmosphere, everyone is friendly and respectful. The classes are small which I appreciate and there’s a great variety of classes offered as well. There’s always lots of parking available and you’re always greeted with a friendly face. I highly recommend this studio to anyone who enjoys Yoga or Pilates. The instructors are ALL AMAZING!

I really did not want to write a poor review on this place after my first brief experience, as I honestly try to give most people benefit of the doubt whenever I can. However, words cannot describe the ultimate waste of time and energy that I expended in trying to experience this studio twice with the intro pass I got on the Mind Body App — both times I was unable to take a class based on their assessment of my physical ability to do the class. I understand their concern that if I was not physically adept enough to perform a class, that I could hurt myself — but that is what waivers are for. They not only did not trust that I would be smart enough to only perform within my range of ability, they assumed that I would be wreckless and a burden on an “intermediate level class” because I did not know the basic principles of Pilates.Their class schedule is limited and restricted — most of which do not fit into my life/work schedule. The first time I signed up for an intermediate Pilates class (the time worked for me and if there were things that I could not do in the class, then at least I know what I can work towards and just do what feels right for my body and physical ability at that time). Every fitness class I have ever taken has always welcomed people of all levels with only recommendations for previous experience— they provide modifications when possible but all together — if you cannot physically do it, we can always have the option to safely observe and only participate in the things that we CAN do. I was upset the first time I was turned down but thought maybe perhaps I was being too ambitious in trying to take a class that was too beyond my capabilities to participate in effectively.I eventually got over it and today decided I would give it a second chance. The class on the “Mind Body App” indicated that it was an “All Levels Pilates Class” — which to me... means that it includes beginner to intermediate to advance.Far from the truth. I did not feel welcome at the studio. The unwritten rule that one must take at least 10 beginner Pilates classes prior to even coming to an “all level” or “intermediate” class is rigid and not made known to newcomers prior to entering the studio. They offer this “beginners” class once a week on Saturdays at 9:30 am. So essentially you have to commit to 10 weeks of this studio at a very specific time of the week before you even get to see what the other classes that you may be more interested in are all about. This means that with an intro pass, you are *not allowed* to see the full scope of what this studio has to offer. The compromise the instructor tried to offer was that I could “observe” the class. I was honestly looking for a work out and wanted to try out something new because I have been on a tight schedule and needed to move my body and this place was so close to home. I do yoga but never Pilates before. I was not looking to be there to watch people exercise without being allowed to do it myself.I believe that this studio suits a very specific clientele and perhaps if this is your niche, you may find it helpful. I pass no judgment on those who attend this studio nor do I think it is kind to say anything bad about the people who run it. It just most definitely is not for me and does not fall in line with what I am all about: challenging ourselves within our limits, trying new things, and open mindedness. It is very apparent to me that the studio is rigid, maladaptive and I cannot say enough how annoyed I am that I tried TWICE — signing up for two different classes on the Mind Body App and was denied entry BOTH times. I will not give this place a third try. I will keep loyal to my usual studios that provide me the community, wholesome and welcoming feelings and support that I need in my wellness journey and it is unfortunate that this place is far from that for me.

As someone who did yoga in my early 20s but hadn’t done yoga or been to a studio since then, I was apprehensive of getting back into it but really wanted to find a way to move my body more and decided I would seek out a yoga studio nearby. I stumbled across YPM online, and could not be more thrilled that this was where I picked up my yoga practice again! Their website makes it so easy to sign up for classes (although not required, you can simply drop in for a class as well). It’s easily the most affordable yoga studio I’ve been to, and their instructors are fabulous. Their attentive and gentle, they pay attention to the class and the people in it. They will quietly slide up next to you and help you with a pose or suggest a modification if they see you’re not quite there. You can talk to them before class about any injuries or limitations you have and they’re non-judgemental and happy to accommodate you. I cannot say enough about how welcoming and safe this environment felt for me, and how much I looked forward to every class I went to. I’ve went to studios in the past where instructors were upset if you couldn’t keep up or quick to judge, but this place is the best for everyone, regardless of level of practice or personal restrictions. The people in attendance of the class seemed to echo this welcoming vibe and helped me find the equipment they knew we were going to need before the instructor entered the room. Truly a place of peace and solace in a busy and chaotic world.

YPM has a great variety of exercise classes. From gentle to advanced Yoga. Plus a range of levels of Pilates and Barre classes. I have been enjoying all of them on a regular basis for 4 years.
