We showed up looking for their black currant flavour. Unfortunately they had just finished it up the day before and so we tried strawberry cheesecake and pear ricotta instead. One of the owners told us she would tell her husband that we were after black currant and to call back the next day. To my surprise they made a fresh batch and it did not disappoint (nor did the coconut!!!). We’re happy to live quite far away from this shop as it would be quite dangerous to have nearby!

Tastiest ice cream till now hands down (comparing to Kelowna). They have many interesting flavours. I tried the raspberry, and it was exactly how raspberries taste. You can also find small seeds in the ice cream, which I felt was pretty cool!My friends tried the cheesecake flavours, and those were tasty as well.

I enjoyed the coconut & after eight ice cream although I was surprised they only took cash or debit. Overall a good spot although some in the group would have preferred some additional flavour options like nuts or coffee variants (they had lots of berry options).

Delicious! I had blood orange and my husband had the Bueno which was a white chocolate nutty. Will definitely go again.

The owner of La Carraia is very thoughtful and always seems to go above and beyond for his customers. I went in, hoping to find a dairy-free chocolate ice cream, and they were sold out. He asked me to come back in a half an hour and he had a fresh batch all ready to serve for me. I would highly recommend this place !!

We heard endless raves about La Carraia so we had to check it out and we were blown away. The gelato is the best we've ever had and the artisan coffee was unreal! Fakri and the team at La Carraia brings a breath of fresh air to downtown Vernon. So welcoming and friendly. I can't recommend it enough!

We went for gelato, but then stayed for coffee and lunch as well! Their Italian panini was delicious, and the staff friendly and helpful. There are a lot of gelato flavours to choose from, and each one looks amazing! So great to have this place in Vernon!
