Cozy vibe, feels like you're transported to JapanUses the modern method of ordering through QR code. No paper menu or server interaction involved at all which is great for introverts! You simply scan the QR code which will direct you to a website where you can place your order yourself and pay for everything as well.Ramen has good portion size, but got really salty a little more than halfway through!Mini nanban don was much smaller than I expected and only had 2 pieces of chicken.The tako karage tastes like typical karage while having the chewy texture of octopus on the inside which I enjoyed.

Tondou Ramen
Best ramen in Canada (outside of Japan). Tonkotsu Ramen was my favourite!! Second favourite is the Okinawa Soba! It has a unique taste to other Ramen, but great!Suggestion: get 2 or 3 different kinds, and get mini bowls for sharing! Sake is amazing here!!Servers are all AUTHENTIC Japanese!!

Delicious food and beer, great atmosphere, especially with the posters and accessories set up. I got the chicken ramen specifically but it was flavorful without leaving me completely full for the night. Definitely recommending to others, especially groups.

Tondou Ramen Provided Fresh Ramen The Ramen Was Very Tasty! It Took More Than 10 Minutes But Worth The Wait The Lemonade Was Very Refreshing They Provided Us With Helpful Staff And Sanitary Tables You Have Sauces And Sesame Seed In The Side And Sadly I Forgot To Take A Photo With The Ramen But I Got Full Because How Fresh And Great The Soup Was There Is No Menu You Have To Use The QR Code.

Tondou Ramen
I've been here before and had a good experience so this time I brought my friend with me. We ordered and paid online and after waiting for almost 30 minutes we tried to click the call button and talk to another server then found out they never received our order. Then we had to wait for them to start making our food and The issue is that they let guests sit there for half an hour, received no orders and never came out to check on us, despite telling us that they can take our order directly when we came in and just left (never came back) after we said give us one minute to look at the menu. Mind you the restaurant was not busy at all and another server came out to serve another table multiple times, saw us and never asked anything until we tried to ask him what is taking so long. I'm just overall disappointed and will not be coming back

Tried out Toronto’s one and only okinawan resto and it was so yummy! The broth was good but the highlight for me was the texture of their noodles.They also have a few veg options. I got their plant-based tantan ramen which was topped with this savoury beyond meat crumble and it actually worked so well!The staff and the owner Kota were all super friendly and will definitely make sure your visit is enjoyable ◡̈

The tonkotsu ramen was so rich and flavourful. Great pork flavour. Would definitely come back again! The Okinawa soba noodles have a great texture to them, thick and bouncy. More of a egg noodle/udon hybrid but very good. Will be back to try the other dishes! Service was quick on a Friday night.

A chill place to hop into with friends for a wholesome ramen meal around fun decor. The portions are larger than your average ramen spot with a lot of noodles and a fair bit of meat in each dish. I got the soki soba and couldn't even stomach a full beer afterwards; same with some other friends. The red theme and flashy posters makes the place feel rowdier than it is, which is great for a food pitstop on a night out. Service was prompt and helpful too.A note of caution: if your idea of ramen is something that's mostly salt, miso forward, and you crave that spicy option, this might not be the place for you. But if you're open to a lighter broth that has more subtle interest, this is a great place to try it.

The only Okinawa style ramen in Toronto. Tondou is easily distinguished from other ramen shops with its unique soup base: oily and creamy, a perfect match with a chilly early October night. The noodles are machine made, not chewy or bounces between your teeth but that’s fine. Service is on spot. They do have size options which is good. The octopus karaage tasted like pre-frozen products. Very cleaned gender inclusive washroom.Edit: 4 stars to 2 stars. Visited Sunday night, off-duty servers and the owner were seating at patron table and drinking, very loud and swearing dirty words. Bad experience.

Tondou Ramen
I have eaten here many times; as your ramen is the best I’ve had anywhere. I always order the Tonkotsu Special (be it from home or at Tondou) with one extra [seasoned egg] as that is my favourite part of the meal. A sort of cherry on top for me. The last 3 times, the eggs have come very under-seasoned, almost white, and it takes away hugely from the flavour of the meal. Please, keep them seasoned the way they were before. I want to keep loving your restaurant. I don’t wan’t to settle for less.
