Yam Dental

I’ve been seeing Dr. Yam for over 25 years. I appreciate his sensitivity to my nervousness. He always tries to make me feel at ease. I had a filling replaced today and a new small filling in another tooth. He and his team are very kind and gentle and were eager to make sure that I was happy with their work.Dana is also fantastic - she is my hygienist. I always enjoy my appointments with her and am very happy with her efforts in keeping my mouth healthy.I really appreciate Paula at the front desk. She is always super friendly, professional snd efficient. She never makes you feel bad about asking questions or asking for clarification. She is very helpful, resourceful and kind!Thank you Dr. Yam and Staff!

Have been visiting Dr Yam for 30 years and always find his team pleasant, his office extremely clean and his services very good. He is willing to provide you with all your options and will recommend only what is critical to a healthy mouth.

Awesome clinic and highly recommend, only positive things to say about this place!I’ve tried multiple dental clinics over the past couple of years and none of them compare to the awesome experience Ive had here.Dr. Yam is a really personable person and a true professional. He and his staff are very sociable and the relationship they have with each other is both amusing and very relaxed. The receptionists always greet you with a smile and even remember many of their patients by name - a rare thing in any clinic.What really set this place apart to me was the experience I had with my wisdom teeth extraction:The procedure itself was quick and not as uncomfortable as I had expected, Dr Yam knew exactly what he was doing from beginning to end. Out of everyone I’ve spoken with, I believe I had the best experience both before and after the surgery.Dr. Yam went above and beyond by personally checking in on my recovery and made himself reachable by phone and even TEXT! well before and after business hours for any questions or concerns I’ve had.I never would have expected such amazing service, very impressed and happy I chose Dr. Yam. 5/5 stars well deserved!Samer

As a very young adult I was very nervous/skeptical to go to a dentist and get my teeth looked at. I knew it would be bad and multiple teeth were going to come out.From stepping my first door into yam everyone made me feel welcome and made sure my anxiety’s were eased as much as possible. They went through huge extents to make sure I was okay after my extractions and kept updated with me with how I’m doing.I still have a lot more work to get done and knowing I chose this place I actually look forward to it instead of being nervous. I highly recommend Yam Dental to anyone looking for a dentist and who may be a bit worried about the result!

Fantastic staff and great place overall. I hadn’t been to the dentist in a while, they didn’t make me feel bad or push a bunch of stuff I didn’t need. I also had an ongoing toothache that I had asked my old dentist about many times and never found a solution. Turns out it was a crack that Dr.Yam found it in about 30 seconds… fixed it the same day (they happened to have an opening)… pain gone! It had been like that for over 15 years.

Dr. Yam's clinic is exceptionally clean and modern, the staff are incredible (especially Lesley and Dana) and you can tell everyone loves working together. I only frequent places where the owners treat their employees with respect and care, and it is clear from the smiling faces and laughter within the office that Dr. Yam cares about his staff as much as his patients. Our appointments are always timely, staff are knowledgeable, and we are treated with respect. Dr. Yam is a wonderful dentist, and our treatments have always gone smoothly. Our teeth have never felt better since seeing Dana for cleanings. She is so efficient and does everything with very little pain! They are also great with kids. If you have a little one with fears the team here will make sure their experience is easy. You won't regret coming to Dr. Yam and his team!

For over the last 10 years, my family and I have been going to Dr. Yam's office for all of our dental needs. My husband and our daughter got their braces done and their teeth are now looking great! We are always very happy with the service that we receive whenever we go for cleanings. Dr. Yam is very detailed with his work and always puts his patients first. Over the years, they have kept their office well-renovated and spotless. To top it off, Dr. Yam and his staff are always very friendly and welcoming!

Don't bother with this doctor, you can find better and less expensive care around. His staff is amazing but that's ahout it good about this dental office. He cares till your benefits are exhausted, after this point he cares less about you as a patient. You deserve better.

Dr. Yam is the best dentist I have ever had.Been going to Yam Dental since I was in high school for braces, cleanings, etc. The staff are extremely honest, caring, and knowledgeable; I always looked forward to my appointments (even for braces tightenings)! My teeth have been in great shape ever since.I would highly recommend anyone in the GTA/Toronto to make Yam Dental your customary Dentist.
