Excellent firm to deal with, been working with them for since 2010 for business and personal and very happy with Rick Peddle and the firm.

I have had Rod from Thompson Jasper and associates do both my personal and corporate taxes for the last 10 years or so and no problem with him other than he seemed expensive but I still paid him every time. Once I sold the company I had to open a holding company. The lawyer who did most of the work charged us $2500.00 which was around what I expecting. The invoice I received from Thompson Jasper was for $14,000.00. I called Rod and told him it was a ridiculous amount and he was going to have to explain it. As Covid was new we could not set up a meeting so I paid the FULL AMOUNT with the CLEAR understanding we would settle up once he did my last corporate year. He then sent me an Invoice for $15,000.00 for the final year which is 3 times the amount Of previous years. I again called him to set up a meeting to discuss his Invoices. He would not answer any of my calls or emails. I called AGAIN TODAY January 3 2023 and found out he retired last week. I am expecting a return call from someone at Thompson Jasper within the next couple days and will post the results.

I bought a business in February 2021. The old owner used Thomson Jasper so I continued to use them for my 2021 fiscal year . I bought the business halfway through my fiscal year so they had to do 2 year ends . I do the bookkeeping myself , everything is reconciled and I have 3-4 employees and about $7000 -10,000 worth of inventory . Pretty straight forward and easy in the accounting world .The invoices the old owner and I received was a total of $14,000. Mine was $8100. I called 2 places for my 2022 taxes and received quotes of $2000-2500.Shop around folks !

Rodney Trayhorne made a lot of mistakes on my personal and corporate returns. He e-filed my Returns without my consent or review. He refused to amend his mistakes on the Returns so I’ve had to file a complaint with BBB. He is miserable and nasty. I highly unrecommend him.
