Laundromat

Across from the Melville Co- Op Melville Laundry is as advertised. Heavy Duty Washers and Dryers. Washers take lonnie's and quarters, the dryers quarters only. No change machine on site nor any staff. With that said we had no issues and there are numbers posted if service is required. Washroom on site and hours are from 8:00 to 20:00. In my opinion to hit 5 stars a renovation would be in order, more entertainment (such as additional magazines, arcade or tv), and change machine. Overall positive experience.

Smells funky in there....

Looking to wash my clothes as I was unexpectedly staying in Melville due to a medical emergency on the Via Rail Canadian. Myself and a friend saw that the laundromat in Melville was open so we walked in there expecting to calmly do our washing only to be greeted by an older lady “Go away!! I’m busy! Can you come back in a couple of hours??!! I’m busy not right now!!” So we leave. Then if we’re com back at all after that interaction we need to know what coins we need so we go back in and get the same treatment. I would rather sit in dirty clothes than be treated like that. No wonder she has minimal business. No one has the right to treat another person like dirt I don’t care who you are. If I could give a negative star rating I would. I will not be needing or using their services if I can help it. Negative vibe there. I don’t recommend doing business here.
