I'm dumbfounded by the quality of services here! One of the employees stopped in on their day off to check in and ended up helping me out with a return without a receipt. They were happy to help out and figured out when the product was purchased. I called to see if the manufacturer got back to the store about the manufacturer defect, they were honest and kind and straight to the point with me about the wait time releaving a bunch of stress on my end.

We went in to check out snowboard boots and Gerry was so helpful!! Kind, very informative and great service. Would hit this shop up again next time we’re in town.

Emailed the store weeks in advance about rentals, had everything setup for 2 pairs of ski rentals. Went in got all setup and was asked for a 500 deposit which is ludicrous!Instantly called another store and they didn't have a deposit requirement at all.It would have been nice to know this was a requirement. In all the emails this was never mentioned. I had been traveling, rental car, hotels, gas and food (I don't have a huge limit as to avoid fraud issues, smart) so this was an issue for me. Giant wrench in my plans as now I had to stop the next day to get setup. The other place was FANTASTIC by the way.The store is beautiful and they have a lot of products. I just think the policy is strange compared to other stores not doing it and not communicating it

The staff at Sports Experts are incredibly friendly, helpful and informative. We came to ski Banff over the Christmas break. Unfortunately Air Canada lost all our luggage which did not arrive in full until 5 days later. Sports Experts saved our vacation for us. We rented equipment and bought new gear. The staff were super attentive and helpful. They repeatedly told us “we want to make sure you have a great vacation.” We were in their shop 2x every day. Their commitment to customer service never waivered despite being slammed with Boxing Day sales and tons of constant customers (many who also had their baggage delayed.). Special shout out to Christina, Dan and Mark. You guys are the best! Thank you for making our time in the beautiful Banff area so wonderful.

Great friendly staff with a nice selection of sporting items.

Rented a snowboard for 2 days here. They have is exceptional service, Even offering to take back the board after store hours, because we had gone to kicking horse. Board and bindings were good!

This is the BEST place to rent ski gear! Why? Lucas was extremely helpful and answered my novice skiing questions with patience and care and helped me get the right ones. They are very friendly throughout the whole process and make everything easy and affordable.I don't recommend this, but even when some other renter's skis and poles got mixed up at the slopes at Louise, Lucas and Sports Experts took care of it all for me! I was ready to lose a day and have to drive out there and swap them out myself, since it was my (or the other renter's) fault, and Lucas and Fred just took care of the whole thing for me and drove out to Louise and swapped them out so I didn't have to deal with it, and they just gave me another set of gear! Thanks Fred and Lucas; I'll always appreciate this. I would never expect this kind of extra support from a company but that's exactly what I got.I also bought a coat there and got some expert advice on which one to go with. This place is amazing and I'm so grateful that we chose them for our ski rental and winter gear needs. This will be the ONLY place I rent from in Canmore. Also the prices are very affordable.Great all around experience and over the top customer service! Thank you Sport Experts!

I just came back from riding the Legacy Trail when my bottle holder broke on my ebike, so I popped into Sports Experts to replace it.I've always found the staff very friendly and knowledgeable.They had a great selection of holders and Felix offered to have my broken one replaced with the new one by their tech team (Josh and Lucas). Honestly, their service is above and beyond!!

Bought a MTB here, Lucas is professional, awesome and helped me a lot with the bike. Especially helped me packed the bike up so I can take it on the plane.

Google didn't let me write another review, but I gotta say this place is great. Dan Sauve is extremely helpful in dealing with a minor, yet very important issue, and the service that is being provided is amazing, despite the situation having nothing to do with making a sale. Just some extra genuine great customer service. (Feb 24th 2023) whereas my first review (below) was from 2021.Wow, what a great retail experience, just walked out with new ski boots. Went in with the intention of just 'kicking the tires' however the guy who helped me was awesome, 100% not pushy, and genuinely wanting to look after my needs. I feel awful for not getting his name. The experience was perfect, extremely quick, I love spending the least amount of time possible in the store. I got what I wanted, never did the staff try to upsell, or deviate from what I wanted. I bought a pair of ski boots that were on sale, as they were last years model Salomon s/pro 90's on Dec 21st around 330pm in the afternoon, give that man a raise!
