Absolutely delicious! The butter chicken and the lamb vindaloo were well spiced and very tasty. I love that there is a small candle underneath to keep the food warm. The naan was nice and crispy and the tandoori chicken was exceptional. Most restaurants tandoori meat is either too dry or too bland, but because tandoori is in their name, I decided to try their chicken tandoori, and I am very glad I did. The tandoori chicken was well seasoned, nicely cooked so they are not overly dry. Very delicious. The service was good and the atmosphere feels nice. Overall 5 stars. I would definitely come back.

5 stars all around!!! Food was exceptional and service was super friendly and sweet. Tons of vegan and gluten free options. We ordered samosas, aloo chana, and tofu saag. All very tasty! The owner had insisted we try a new dish not yet on the menu, tofu makhani. We were already set on our order but he was so nice and brought some out for us anyway as it was a new vegan dish he wanted us to try. It was fantastic! Think vegan butter chicken, super creamy with some spices and sweetness. They have over 20 different vegan curry options and I will definitely be back to try some more! 100% recommend this place for both food and service.

We went there to have a dinner. Went there many times in the past 5 years. Good location near Kingsway. Lots of parking on the road. You cannot miss it next to save on and td bank. The decoration was definitely authentic Indian. We ordered the goat curry and butter shrimp. Ample sauce. Goat was tender. Shrimp was cooked just right. We ate with Naan and Indian rice. We liked it do much we ordered a second order of 4 more slices of garlic Naan. My brother ordered th Chai tea and as usual it was great. We were given special complementary dessert. It is kinda like donut in sweet sauce. For sure it was interesting and tummy. The owner was super friendly as usual and dropped by a number of times to make sure we were served well. Other guests like a young family of four were really enjoying it as well. It seemed they had butter chicken and tandoori served on iron place. We like also the nice touch of the food kept warm over a candle stand. Thoughtful for sure. Definitely a go to Indian place in the heart of Vancouver!

Came here a couple of days ago and we were all very pleasantly surprised at how good everything was. Rick(Chef/Owner) gave us some great suggestions and a great personal experience.I highly highly recommend the Bagara baingan and their homemade Gulab Jamun. Will definitely be back!!

I never write reviews. Especially for this restaurant run by an old couple, I thought a million times as I didn’t want to hurt their small business but finally decided I should because they shouldn’t take their customers for granted. This is hands down the worst Indian food I have ever had anywhere in the world! Where in the world does Tandoori chicken look like this? It tastes exactly how it looks like - bland! We ordered chilli chicken also which was horrible - a mix of cube shaped breast pieces with a vegetable sabzi mix. I actually thought they may have mistakenly given us paneer sabzi before tasting it. I couldn’t believe they call it chilli chicken while calling themselves an authentic Indian restaurant. The goat curry tasted OK but a ton of oil.

I was skeptical that the reviews were fake here but everything exceeded expectations. Chef Rick was extremely friendly and welcoming and the service was spectacular (not just Rick but our two other servers as well). The restaurant was clean and I loved the decor. The food was delicious. Really enjoyed the naan bread. Even ordered some to go with another butter chicken. Really highly recommended. Our best experience with this cuisine in the Lower Mainland since moving here 3 years ago.The butter chicken is the picture of the empty bowl below. Spent a lot per person cause we ordered tons. Fish pakora were tasty too!!

This is one of the best Indian restaurant I have walked in. Excellent ambience, good customer service and tastes are really good. Owner himself interact with guests and understand their tastes and preferences and on top of it he admits what they can do the best what not. Overall it was a pleasant experience satisfying taste buds. Definitely recommended who loves Indian food (North Indian).

I liked this restaurant because it takes you in an instant journey to the deep Indian culture and history. In the entrance, you notice a number of Indian symbols, statutes and artefacts, then you'll feel the hospitality of the Indian culture through the musical atmosphere that is amazing the whole place. The menu includes an offering of multiple curries and rice specialties, and the prices are pretty fair for these specialties. The customer experience is very nice and the staffs are very welcoming and friendly.I recommend the fans of Indian cuisine to try this restaurant lived in Kingsway Burnaby.Reviewed by Tarek Belghith from RZ Network Inc Ottawa Ontario Canada.

I would say Aashiana Tandoori is the Hidden Gem in Vancouver.I ordered Chaat Papri, Paneer Corn Methi Malai, Garlic Naan and Veggie Platter. Gulab Jamun was complimentary from the Owner.I tried this restaurant because I was just walking by another day and saw this restaurant. Fortunately it turned out to be amazing place to have food with the amazing taste and ambience.Uncle mentioned that they are running this restaurant from 1980 and shockingly unlike other restaurants they don’t advertise because when Taste is everything you don’t need everything. Thanks for awesome experience.
