It is what it says, and not just for the citizens but for anyone looking to get help with ANYTHING and everything, they have also a volunteering service so if you have a certain type of information and or knowledge you think that can benefit someone then you can offer them that. It's easily accessible and has a disabled access do they cater for all, if you are unable to speak or hear then i believe they can accommodate that as well as provide Braille print or large letters. There is an appointment service available every Monday to Friday, but closed on Saturday to Monday. There is a drop in service available Tuesday to Friday opens at 930 to 2pm but if you get in before closing time they'll ser you until 5 i believe but there is a telephone service available as well for those anyone not wanting to get out.The benefit of telephone service is that the place is small and only a few experts are available but if you call them you access everyone from all over the country. Waiting time in place is max 1hour.

Very helpful staff, provided me with a lot of resources for further information and support. Allow plenty of time for your visit. I have arrived just before the bureau opened and there were already a few people waiting, so it took me about 50 minutes to be seen.

First visit and I didn't expect the service given. Ist ppointment given was outside working times 3:30 Thursday. They open 9:30 -2pm. Got a call on the day ,the appointment was cancelled. Second appointment 2 weeks later , on a Monday 3:45 and again they are closed on the day. Appointment changed to the next day and at the same time which is outside working hours.I am not too sure who governs the office or administration. It seems like a game. No matter what background, colour, race or creed. I dont think I was treated fairly and the values and ethos written around the offices did not match what's happening on the ground as a government service.I am currently missing my appointment letters but would have taken them to the MP. It's really a joke as I have travelled to the offices and found the place closed.I assume once you commit to work for Govt or charity it's a service. From the reviews I can tell I am not the only one affected and not everyone documents their experiencesI would want the queen her majesty to know ...

The telephone service is very bad apparently, so avoid it. But considering thire even tighter budget from the crappy Conservative government, the service in the building is very good. If you need something done quite quickly you normally get an appointment within a Week from the Day that you visit (as long as you tell them the deadline date when you visit). The staff are helpful and friendly. These things are based on my personal expierience. The government should put more money into this good, free public service to employ more staff and increase the opening times for the buildings and phone lines. But the phone lines need to be drastically improved.

They are okay, however, sometimes is heartbreaking when you’ve been waiting for ages just to be sent away again, or come back for ‘a new appointment’.Had a phonecall with one of them, a legit had to beg them to speak to me ’nicer’. I ask ‘I don’t understand why you’re talking to me like this? Please be kinder, I’m being nothing but respectful and trying to ask for help’.It’s a nightmare trying to reach them over the phone, better off going in person. But be prepared for wait, discomfort and at times rudeness from reception.Wish the team had more support to offer their citizens.

Well, called for advice for something. I waited for 30 minutes in a call queue for it to go silent for about 30seconds. I was then thanked for taking the survey and got put through to an automated question asking how I would rate the service I'd received today then they hung up.What service? If your service to keep people waiting in a queue for half hour to listen to rubbish music then you did a great job. But as your service is advice I can full heartedly say that you 100% failed in this. Not even the slightest bit of advice and i didn't even speak to a real person. What a big pile of dog eggs. I think I'll have better luck getting the advice I need from my 3 year old son. Good day to you cab, stick it up you butter hole.
