The staff is always so helpful and friendly.

So we are on vacation 15 minutes out of lakefield and our cavalier is jumping on and off the bed. at home we have stairs. I prefer to help local business so I went to Paulmac's on Tuesday and was served by a helpful lady who contacted the other store and told me that she could have a set of stairs that I wanted by tomorrow morning when they open. I explained I could have ordered a set from Amazon for next day delivery and I was assured there would not be an issue.When I returned the next day at 9:15 there were no stairs and the gentleman in the stored kept blaming his wife for promising things that are not delivered and further explained to me how many times he had told her that. Personally I would have preferred a simple sorry, we forgot to bring it.This is a typical example of how small businesses often complains about big corporations like Amazon yet they fail to satisfy their clients while Amazon always does. Today Amazon delivered two books that I ordered Monday, on time, to the cottage as promised. The stairs would have come as well if I had just ordered them from Amazon.The store was clean, well stocked and my first impression was that if I lived here I would shop here. After today I am certain about that.

The people there are very knowledgeable and they genuinely care for the animals that are in their care. They took the time to explain concepts in cat nutrition, as well as other facts about caring for a variety of animals, knowing that I had no intentions of purchasing anything.Would definately visit again to have the pleasure of speaking to the employees at the store once more.

They're a decent pet supplies shop and I prefer going here vs. going into Peterborough to get pet food and toys.The staff are reasonably knowledgeable and we feel like our pet's health has been positively impacted by advice we were given about the food choices here.

The staff are usually quite helpful, I've been shopping here mostly for the last couple of years since I moved to Warsaw.

I stopped in here the other night after the vets … vet said I should buy some flea stuff.. so of course I had bought advantage and then asked the girl if there was a spray I could buy… she offers me the Nordic stuff .. I replied the vet suggested not to use that. Then replied ya we are trying to get it off the shelves because we have people complaining about the damage it’s doing to their pets…I thought to myself and yet you just tried to sell me it.I asked for suggestions for a soft food and the girl had no idea what to sell me.For some, our pets are family… and someone who isn’t properly trained on products or food could really do damage. Your recommending a poison to put on my child… so wrong and disgusted. For a $15 dollar spray you could cost me $1500 or more at the vets.Hard enough to get people shopping in stores these days .. and yet some owners wonder why people don’t come back ! This being a perfect example!I’m in retail so I get it , however safety is always first.

Such great service to the community. Nail trim clinic free is apprechiated by being there for the people and pet dogs that need it. Thank you.

Great variety of food..toys..not a bad bird supply as well. I have a macaw and he loves his toys..staff helpful and always friendly
