Shoppers Drug Mart

If I could give a 0 stars I would. How is it acceptable to force customers to wait on hold for over 30 min (I hang up at the 30 min mark) to answer a question about their prescriptions! Not to mention the constant mix ups and mis-filling of prescription medications. The only reason we stay at Shoppers is for the hours as most independent pharmacies are not open during the time we are available to pick up prescriptions. However this convience certainly comes with a cost! Shameful!

I recently picked up a prescription (more that $100) that was supposed to be for a quantity of 100. Instead I was given 50 with a note that read TAKE ONE-HALF (1/2)TABLET ONCE DAILY. PLEASE CUT". These particular pills are not made to be cut in half. I tried and got some 1/2 pieces plus lots of broken bits and dust. Cutting 50 pills in half is something I expect would be in the job description for the pharmacist."

Had an issue with an Amazon gift card that was purchased at this location of shoppers drug mart on Aug 30/22 when I went to use it the card was compromised. I received no help from the shoppers 800 number so I went to the store manager Luisa who said she would look into it and call me back. I waited 2 weeks with no return call, so I went into the store and spoke to the assistant manager who told me she would have the manager call me back. It has now been over a month with no return call. Your store manager needs to take a course on customer service

Only one star because I can't go lower. The Holiday Inn drive location has a few issues. 1. They often don't have the drug I require even though I have an ongoing prescription. They often tell me to look elsewhere. 2. The pharmacy rarely answers the phone and when they do the staff is not educated on pharmaceutical issues. 3. Their website indicates you can book an appointment but then says below that the email is not monitored, and says to give them a call....back to issue 2.

I would give it 0 stars if I could. Some of the beauty boutique employees are knowledgeable, but HORRIBLE management. i’ve had many horrible experiences at this shoppers location in the pharmacy, but now specifically with Cindy.The first time I went in, I was looking for a certain perfume I knew they had, Cindy looked and was unable to find it until one of the employees pointed it out. How does a manager not know her own store? but I moved past that. On a second occasion, I came in looking for a foundation match. Again spoke to Cindy, she tried to match a foundation with my skin colour which hasn’t been hard for others in previous experiences. She struggled pacing around the boutique looking for a foundation and tried multiple EXPIRED products on my face. The foundation was separating and very well past its 12 month expiry. I got a rash on my face from whatever product she put on my face. Speaking of expired products, none of their samples can be safe for your face, they’re dried up, changing colour, fading packaging, broken applicators. I don’t even know how it’s legal to test these products on paying customers. All they care about is selling products so they can make commission, don’t fall for their trap!Overall very disappointed with my experience and will absolutely not be returning. This just shows they really will just hire anyone to manage their stores.

Best cashiers and beauty reps of all Cambridge SDM locations.The beauty boutique team at this location are highly knowledgeable and need recognition for this as they always deliver great customer service.I can’t say I’ve had the best experience with the pharmacy but a lot of the unavailability if Rx is beyond their control so I can’t give them a hard time about it.

I just went here to do some shopping. I was wandering around looking at different items when I noticed employees near me , everywhere I went. It was so obvious that they were following me around. Why, I don't know. Were they discriminating against me because I am disabled & using a walker? Idk. I felt furious & disgusted. What BS. I won't shop here again plus I'll tell everyone that I know to stay away.

This pharmacy is a disaster. Only had half my prescription and said the second half would be there in 2 days. I waited 2 days and called before I went in but was on hold for 10min so I just went in. They said it wasn’t there yet and to try the next day, next day comes and I call again and sit on hold for 15min this time. Customer service is terrible.

Jessica in the beauty boutique was very friendly and personable. Her quick thinking, to recommend other items/brands, was excellent. I overheard another customer expressing their gratitude to her as well.The beauty boutique team overall has been very pleasant and helpful. Thank you all for the consistently wonderful service every time! ❤️❤️EDIT (01/29/23): I took off two stars, so now I'm only giving this location 3 stars.Not sure if everyone was just crabby on this particular day, but I came in to purchase a few things. The garbage outside was removed so there is no longer a garbage can (which I can also understand from their perspective). I was trying to throw some garbage out that I had because my partner and I had stopped by McDonalds for a quick meal and needed to throw out the garbage while we went out shopping for the day.The two staff in the boutique were occupied with a customer with a situation (probably a return/exchange or coupon or something), so I asked the merchandiser in the back if there was a garbage I could quickly toss out myself.The rude merchandiser said that no customers are allowed to use their garbage at all"

There are a whole lot of reviews regarding the pharmacy at this location. I have a separate issue to address. The prices are marked up obscenely high lately for many items. There was an 80% mark up on an infant probiotic which really made me leave this review. This probiotic is available for 28.99-32.99 everywhere else while this place sells it for 51.99 and similac sells for 58.99 while it’s 48.99 elsewhere.
