Waitress took our order brought the food ot and never came back. When I could finally order another diet pepsi it was like I was bothering her. Poor attitude. French fries were so greasy and awful that I did not eat them. They need to change their oil. This place has gone downhill. I had my first clubhouse sandwich there 25 years ago and it was awesome. Sadly the place is nolonger worth the drive to Listowel.

We have had dinner here on 3 occasions, most recently tonight. Had the beef stir fry, hair in it. We also noticed the ice bucket was sitting on the bar and was very dirty and at one point one of the cooks came out to cash out a customer and he had dirty hands and appeared to have food he was working with in one had while handling cash in the other. Previous visit we ordered hamburgers and received mouldy buns. I prefer to shop local when ever I can, but not here anymore. Cleanliness is not evident at all

Good little diner that has been around forever in Listowel.I had Roast Beef with horseradish that tickled the nose.The Roast Beef looked on the edges that it was sitting in the warmer too long but the Centre was good and tender as were the mashed potatoes.My wife had the liver and onions of which she said was delicious.Quick service and it was approximately $30 for the two of us.

Don’t really leave that many reviews these days but I’ll say that I’m happy to have found what maybe the best spot in Listowel. Very fresh and tasty. If you need something healthy, stop here and have a nice salad or soup and if not, the burgers good too!

Came here for Mother’s Day. The restaurant was not busy at the time that we came. We were greeted with a “do you know what you want yet?” From our server, basically right when we sat down. Not a “hello, how are you today” or anything remotely professional.. to which I said we need a little more time but will order drinks. Once we ordered, I had to get up twice to ask for more coffee. Our food took 45-50 mins to come out. Not to mention the garlic toast came out 10mins before the actual meal. Not to mention we ordered an appetizer and it came out at the same time as our food, not before hand. I stood up to ask for a manager, to find out that OUR SERVER WAS THE MANAGER. I was in absolute shock. I waitress myself and could not believe the lack of overall “service” , let alone simple kindness. She acted as though she was annoyed we were even there. And through observing her with other tables, it’s safe to say she is the same with them all. If I was the owner, I would definitely be having a meeting with my front of house staff to make sure everyone is on the same page when it comes to the steps of service.Additionally, tables around us were left with dirty dishes on them the whole duration we were there.The food was not terrible but our overall experience is what makes this review less than a 1 star. I do not recommend this place unless they make some real changes, and I’m not one to attack someone specifically but as someone in a management role, there definitely needs to be some additional training.

Very poor. Service was prolonged despite there being few customers. The food was overcooked. The food wasn't even prepared with proper spices. The pricing is too high, and the portions are too small. Three sausages for 4.75$ is too high. And they are charging for refills on coffee and tea. Very greedy.

Food is good, service 50/50, no salt no pepper no ketchup no condiments at the table it's all special order
