Burwell School of Photography

I've just returned from my third class with Paul. Each one was great. The location, the facility, the course content and most of all the instructor. Paul is extremely knowledgable and able to get that knowledge across to the students. He has lots of hands on exercises as well as after class assignments. My only regret is that I am moving and it will be unlikely that I will be able to take more. Although if I can work out the logistics I will be back.

I have taken 3 workshops at BSOP and was never disappointed in the course material or how is was presented.

Just posted a few public photos using some techniques I learned thru Burwell in the night photography class taught by Darlene! I have to say I dont think I have had so much fun learning before! thanks!

I got more than I felt was fair to expect out of a workshop course like this. It was everything I hoped I would get and then some. Paul taught us all sorts of things that I didn't even realize I wanted to be able to do with my camera. He taught us the theory to support the actions and results and that is precisely what I was looking for in a class. I have used my particular camera for 6 years now and there were classmates that had their camera for 2 weeks and I feel that we all got invaluable knowledge about how to operate our cameras. I actually came home and searched through some pictures that I had taken in AUTO mode previously and I could tell why they turned out well, or why they weren't exactly what I was hoping for and what I should have done to achieve what I wanted in them, just by looking at the final result on a computer screen!! I am thrilled with the course and I cannot wait to watch the progression of my work now that I have a better knowledge of my camera.
