Pho An Nam
I was supposed to visit John 3.16 next door but was turned down by the crowd and the line up, even at 8:45pm on a Monday. An Nam has been my regular for the last few years. The menu has no surprises as most of the items are very standard Vietnamese food in Canada. The waitresses have always been attentive and good mannered. Eat, pay and leave, I had want I wanted. Always no complaint. They did check my vaccine proof as I entered.

Came in for lunch on Sunday afternoon. Food arrived promptly which was definitely appreciated as we had two children. Lemon grass chicken was flavourful and tender, and not too fatty (like many places). The kids also enjoyed the beef noodle soup. Bread on the meatball banh mi was warm and crispy although the meatball serving could’ve been slightly more generous. Overall a very nice place and will come again!

Was a good one until most recent visit. A large No. 10 house special for $16.5 , but you will only get as less meat as you can imagine. Too bad have to say sayonara to Pho Anna !!

This is my one of my boyfriend's favourite Vietnamese restaurants. The portions and flavour were pretty good, and service was quick. I'd recommend their vermicelli bowls and the fried crepe!

Usually a to-go place for my take out pho dinner. Online ordering is pretty convenient.Food quality is consistent, spring rolls and chicken wings are actually surprisingly good. Highly recommended. Price is reasonable.The staff there are friendly and quick.

This is one of my favourite place for Pho in Vancouver. I've been supporting them from their old location on Granville Avenue. since 2011, and they were forced to relocate because of redevelopment in that little tiny strip mall on Granville Avenue and I had followed them to this new location on No. 3 Road since. Their current location is tucked in in the little strip mall where IHOP, Wo Fung and John 3:16 are also located. So parking could be a bit tense there.Back then their pricing was their competitive edge, but since covid, the prices have really soar. I remember paying $13 for a meal combo that includes a bowl of pho, spring rolls and a drink. Now the combo is $16.50 and the pricing wasn't increased overtime. The Bahn Mi combo was $8.50 back then and now just a Bahn Mi itself costs $8. For a $8 sub, I think they could add a little more pate and or meat to justify the pricing.Regardless of the price increase, their spring rolls are a must order and their Spicy Beef and Pork with thick vermicelli soup comforts your soul in the cold weather. It's very addicting! Bun Bo Hue (spicy noodles) is quite good here. Broth is flavourful and mildly spicy. The other dish, pork skewers, spring roll, and shredded pork on vermicelli is alright. I thought that they were not generous enough with the pork, given the price. Prices a bit on the high side, though, the service is attentive and quick. Recommended for the noodles.
