Yagoto sushi is a pleasant surprise to me. A small restaurant on west broadway with simple interior. Reasonable price in this economy and fresh ingredients. Will definitely return.

My friend and I went there last night! I ordered the special B which was extremely tasty (especially the tofu dengaku) with reasonable price. My friend loves their udon and the stuff was really nice. We would definitely go there again!!!!!!

The sashimi is so fresh. The udon is good too. The portion is not huge but the price is so reasonable given the food costs these days. Would definitely come back again!

Quality is good but be aware that the online price is off by about 3 dollars.Ordered a roll combo on the phone thinking it was a good deal at $12.50 and paid $15.75, so confirm the price before you hang up.

A hidden gem on West Broadway - Yagoto serves some of the best, authentic sushi in all of Vancouver. Nothing fancy, but chef Yama uses only quality ingredients, fish is always super fresh, whether it's sashimi or nigiri the fish is expertly sliced to the perfect size (not too small or overly big) for a satisfying bite, and the sushi rice taste/texture is ichiban, second to none! They have a small menu with lots of good combo options as well and prices/value is very fair. No matter what you order, everything, even the cooked items, is delicious and more importantly, traditionally Japanese style - no crazy intricate rolls with 40 different ingredients doused in overpowering sauces, instead, just perfect simple sushi that let's the natural freshness and flavor of the fish be the show. The restaurant is small with basic decorations, but clean and comfortable to dine-in. Service is prompt and friendly, sometimes the chef is all on his own, but still manages to make things right. A humble establishment that serves great sushi, can't go wrong. For first time diners, would recommend to not miss out on the special House Roll, and for a simple lunch/dinner, the Nigiri + Udon combo hits the spot if you got a Japanese food craving but don't want to spend a fortune.

Absolutely a gem in the neighborhood! Whenever you go, you can expect to have the most fresh and delightful sushi. Was not once disappointed by the food. Perfect place to drop by for great sushi.

Cute little place! Took my sister and my mom here with me and they really enjoyed it. My mom is super picky too! Service is super friendly and fast too.

Great service, small but cozy. In my opinion I really liked the chicken teriyaki, and the sushi is great for the price. The staff was very friendly. I do recommend eating here

Got seafood salad, and a bunch of rolls plus an ikura cone (unfortunately forgot to take a picture). All of them were authentic and delicious and impeccable prices! This has got to be the most value sushi place balanced with taste. I will be back!
