The staff here are amazing the Workman ship isn’t the best. Been coming here for 10 years and they have been awesome! But I have had 2/5 botched root canals make me super sick and put me in hospital both times. Then I had to pay to have the teeth that remained removed on top of that, it was my problem to cover the rest even tho this is the 2nd time I had an infection from my root canals that were done here. To be honest I think if you do a job you should stand behind it. If something you did fails I shouldn’t have to pay you again to remove your screw up. Sure charge my coverage but don’t charge me. Now I have 2 missing teeth in my mouth because of this place. And no I’m not going to pay more to have fake ones put in, that’s what I paid for the 1st time. Thanks

I had a COVID dental emergency and the team at Nova Dental surpassed my expectations of care during a complicated time in the world. Dr. Shahbazi took the time to communicate my options by calling me directly before arriving for treatment. Throughout the two visit procedure safety, care and communication were excellent. I very much appreciate meeting this team and everything they did for me. My thanks to the staff and Dr. Shahbazi at Nova Dental, I will be passing on my recommendations.

I recently had to have a root canal which always seems to be the most feared of dental visits. Dr.Shahbazi and his team actually made this an enjoyable experience. It was a very welcoming and professional atmosphere with what seemed to me to be all the latest in dental technology. I felt very comfortable and confident and would highly recommend them. Stay away from this center! They over charge your insurance without your knowledge. Dr. Shahbazi did a terrible job on my teeth from which I have not yet recovered! Lots of pain and very unprofessional attitude!

My wife and I have same experience about financial surprise with Dr Shabazi . They always charged us more than amount that they mentioned at proposal recipe . They say that they will care but it’s not true. We never back there .

After going to this place I have been having so much pain for a simple job , the worst dentist i have ever been to. They will charge you so much for the quality of work they do and the follow ups are bs, they just want your money and will destroy your teeth so you have to go again and get them fixed so they can charge you again. Dont recommend dr shahbazi but if you are going for just dental clean ups you should be good cuz the girls there know what they are doing. Its been a few months and the filling look cracked, nerve pain and other problems from the job he did, i dont know what kind of skills some of these dentists have... . Time to get them fixed at an actual qualified dentist

I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed here, in addition to multiple fillings and cleanings. The receptionists are the absolute nicest and Dr. Shahbazi himself is so capable as a dentist. I have never had a bad experience here. He genuinely cares and if you listen to his simple guidelines for hygiene, you will not get an infection. I had four separate stitches that healed perfectly. He is very caring and he knows what he's doing.I highly recommend Nova Dental clinic. My entire family and I have been seeing Dr. Shahbazi for almost a decade and this clinic has made me not hate going to the dentist anymore.

My family and I have been Dr. Shahbazi's patients for the past 20 years. Nova Dental Clinic is by far the very best clinic on the North Shore when it comes to quality and professionalism ! We never had to pay a second visit after any treatment since Dr. Shahbazi is a perfectionist . His clinic is so welcoming and clean. We are also very pleased to see the clinic is fully equipped with Air & Surface Sanitization devices during COVID-19 outbreak. We have referred many family & friends to him whom they all became his long term patients .

I had the worst experience with Dr Shahbazi who is a disgrace to the medical profession. He is unethical and a liar. He did a terrible job filling a tooth that he said needed filling ( I had no pain) and I have been dealing with toothache ever since. He changed the filling once and no change. After a month he said I needed to go to a specialist and he claimed he would do as the specialist would say in the report.I had my appointment with a specialist and they sent the report back to his office. He wanted me to go to a specialist that he suggested , but as I had no trust in Dr Shahbazi at this point, I decided to go to another specialist who is one of the best in Vancouver.His response when he got the report?Why didn’t you go to the specialist I referred you to !!!!Who is this report from?His words:I cannot do what is suggested in this report.Your pain ( toothache) is not my responsibility!!! And so much more nonsense !!!This is how unethical he is. I never imagined a dentist telling their patients they don’t care about the pain they caused!!! Zero ethics.He sees you as money and does not care about the mistake and the pain he causes. He practices in Nova dental clinic as well as Theory and Essence. AVOID him and don’t trust the good reviews. They are all Lies.
