Peaceful Veterinary Home Visits

Amanda is a angel period. She has a huge understanding of what it is to lose a loved fur baby. Helped us greatly with the goodbyes of our precious Mollie. Her home visit for assessment and the way she discussed what our lil frenchie was feeling. We knew it was time but like all people who loves their pets , we weren't ready and never wanted to be. Wishing they would pass in their sleep is how everyone wants it but never happens most times. Amanda let us know that we were doing what's best for our girl. Made us understand that we weren't doing wrong by her. It was just time. 15yr old just isn't long enough for us, but it was for her. The ending was like she just stayed asleep. Like we wanted it to be. The respect she has for dog owners is amazing. If anyone out there is in doubt of their fur baby's last days, call Amanda and let her show you how it should always be done.Even after it was over Amanda tKes the extra time to ensure all your wishes are met with your fur baby's ashes if you want them. The paw prints and cast we got of our Mollie girls paw was perfect. The info she has for grieving owners is also amazing. There isn't enough words to say how much we appreciate you Amanda. I’m so glad we heard about this service when we needed it. Our dog always suffered from anxiety and I can’t imagine his last moments not being at home in his bed. Amanda was so kind and allowed all the time and education we needed to make such a tough call. I’ll forever be grateful.

Amanda is a godsend, giving Red Deer a much needed service that we've been sorely lacking. I've only ever had my pets put down in the comfort of their home and I will continue to do so in the future, as long as I am able. I recently had to put down my nearly 20 year old cat, after she went downhill suddenly. After visits to a couple of vets who tried to make her comfortable until I could get my usual vet to put her down, my girl pretty much told me she wasn't going to make it to the scheduled appointment.So I got in contact with Amanda and she came the next day. I loved when my usual vets could do the house visit euthanasias, but in this situation, I felt more comfortable with time. Meaning, there wasn't that thought in the back of my mind of the vet needs to get back to the clinic to deal with appointments." Amanda was here for just over an hour until the injection was given

I contacted Amanda when my dog, Cooper was deteriorating. She came to my home and assessed him.....he loved her!! She answered any questions I had, I never felt rushed, and offered many resources about euthanasia, how you might feel before, during and after. Also, so helpful to know there were support groups for the loss of a pet. This was so much better than the stress of an office vet visit, or being traumatized by a last minute decision to euthanize. Amanda gave me time to prepare myself, and let me make the decision when the time was right. It brings me great peace that I chose Peaceful Veterinary Home Visits. Amanda is a beautiful human being, who is incredibly experienced in helping people and their pets through this process. She absolutely made sure it was the right time for me to make the decision to say goodbye to Cooper when I felt I was ready. Thank you Amanda, you know I think the world of you!!

There aren't enough words to express our deepest gratitude that Amanda was there for us when we needed her, so our beloved dog was able to pass away in the comfort of his home, where he was born, & where he spent the happiest days of his entire life.As excruciating as the decision is to have to put our cherished animals to a final rest when the time does come, after all the love they've given us they so deserve as our last precious gift to them, to say good-bye forever, at home, where they are the most comfortable, relaxed & at peace.Thank You Amanda, for your care, your kindness, understanding, gentle manner, & your genuine compassion.
