My Husband And I Went Here For Our Anniversary Dinner And Let Me Say, It Was By Far The BEST Restaurant Experience We've Had Thus Far. The Service Was AMAZING, The Food Was PHENOMENAL And The Atmosphere Was BEAUTIFUL. They Had Live Music From A Pianist And The View Of The Water Was Nice. We Have Already Talked About Going Back. The Price We Paid Was Absolutely Worth The Experience That We Had!

First time going, the food we ordered was very good. The service was excellent as well, our waiter Pauley was great!But….. I’m not fancy like that, I almost had a heart attack paying our meal.I regret leaving even a crumb of food hahahahaaha.

Overall food and service was excellent! Grilled Atlantic Swordfish was my favorite, great flavors and large portions. We also had a mix of east and west coast oysters on a half shell, highly recommend!

The food was amazing as always, but the service was slow. One of the guest in my party ordered a medium steak that came out well done. We had already waited about 45 minutes for our food. Ambiance was perfect and overall had a good time!

While in Detroit, we were looking for places with happy hours, and came across Joe Muer Seafood, conveniently located inside our hotel, the Renaissance Centre.We had an absolutely fabulous experience here. While the regular menu is a bit pricey (though good quality), the happy hour is a great, affordable way to experience the restaurant and amazing views. The snacks and drinks on the special happy hour menu were inventive and delicious - we tried every one and shared them between our group of five.Our favourite snacks were the fries and the calamari - definitely some of the best calamari I've ever had. It was crispy and perfectly seasoned, with a delicious dipping sauce. Our group also tried different local beers and some cocktails - my favourite was the lemon drop.We loved the experience so much that we came back almost every day while we were in the city. The views, food and service were second to none.Since the happy hour is quite popular, it can be a bit tight at the bar, however there are two sides that you can choose to sit at.The restaurant does also have a strict dress code in place - one member of the group had to change out of her yoga pants before being allowed to enter. We were ok with this, as it does help to maintain a great experience and upscale ambiance.This is a must-try staple when in Detroit.

Went there for a Birthday for my wife. Food, atmosphere, and service impeccable. But have to laugh at pettiness of Joe Muers. I spent $380 for 3 people, we ordered desert and waiter was nice to bring a very small cake with a candle. When I received the bill, I found out they charged me for it. A small thing but truly surprised me.

One of the fanciest restaurants I've been to, with a great atmosphere and excellent service. They have daily specials and the one i got was amazing. They even had an off menu special salad that day. It was literally the best salad I've ever had.

We were planning on going to another restaurant but it was full. We went to this place on a whelm, a year after Covid, a day before Father's Day and last minute, but we were lucky they had a table. You usually have to reserve a spot. The food was excellent, had great service. We were recommended the crab cakes by the security guard. They were good, This place specializes in seafood dishes.

Service was impeccable. Delicious, crispy bread and whipped butter. Excellent short ribs and barramundi. We went for Christmas Eve, and had a wonderful experience! The pianist was excellent. The view of the Detroit River was stunning. Atmosphere was so beautiful.
