Riley Park Maternity Clinic

I was a patient of NW Maternity clinic for my first pregnancy (July 2022 to February 2023). I loved it here! I felt well taken care of and all of my concerns were addressed sympathetically. You will see a variety of doctors, but honestly I did not see one that I was unhappy with or felt uncomfortable with. Nurse Bonnie was always amazing, and she was our favorite to see. We were so happy with her care through the pregnancy and also happy that she got to see our baby girl for her first appointment after birth.At our daughter's 6 week appointment, we saw Dr Taylor...this was the first time I had seen her and wow. I was blown away with how informative and caring she was. As a first time mom, I had some questions and she addressed them all with great care. She even passed along the name of a family doctor accepting patients for our family. Really really loved her and those who interact with her are so lucky.Thanks NW for the wonderful care of me and my baby girl.

My wife and I attended this clinic for both our kids and always had a pleasant experience. They also had great lactation consultants.

The breastfeeding clinic is amazing! Baby and I had lots of issues, so we ended up going to the clinic many times for the first two months postpartum. The staff and doctors were always attentive, compassionate, and helpful. Thank you for all your work and kindess during a difficult time for me!

I would not recommend to go there since the service there is SO bad. Last visit to the clinic(we booked an appointment for both my wife and newborn baby through phone), the front desk lady was so impatient and told us we do not have any appointments. She was gaslighting my wife are you sure you booked with this clinic?"

I had a wonderful experience with this clinic and wonderful memories. I loved all the doctors there, they were caring, professional, and empathetic. The nurses were great and the front desk staff too.My sincere gratitude especially for Dr. Zwiers and Dr. Alex who delivered my two children. I’ll always remember you ❤️

I am torn in terms of this review - in many respects, I’ve enjoyed the experience at the clinic during my prenatal visits. I also found the resources they offer extremely helpful. But, as of right now, I have been waiting for over 45 minutes for my lactation appointment with a starving baby. I recognize that scheduling can be challenging, but this complete lack of respect for my time and my baby’s feeding schedule is completely unacceptable. If someone had come in to let me know that the doctor is running behind, I would at least be understanding of the delay. But, we are now approaching an hour past our scheduled appointment time and it’s completely unacceptable.

Every doctor and nurse that we have met with here has been just wonderful. We appreciate the care so much, it has gone so far beyond my expectations. They take time to discuss all concerns, are caring and empathetic, and are balanced in discussing the options.

Wonderful clinic! Despite having a pretty awful first pregnancy, all the front-end staff, nurses, and doctors were amazing and went above and beyond to make sure mum and baby were doing well. I went back today for the first time in my second pregnancy and received the same warm and thorough care. I also really enjoy getting to meet all the different doctors so you will have a familiar face when it comes time to deliver! I typically book in the mornings so I haven’t ever experienced much of a wait. However, I’ve also never felt rushed during any of my appointments, so I feel like any schedule delays are due to the nurses and doctors treating everyone like a person rather than just a number and giving them the time/care they require. Thanks for all you do!

I came here for both of my pregnancies and always had a great experience. The nurses and doctors are friendly and very knowledgeable. Some of the doctors also deliver babies at Foothills, and in my case, the doctor I saw in clinic really was at the hospital when I went into labour. If you consistently book appointments for the same day of the week, you will most likely see the same doctor every time. I've never had to wait very long for my appointment, but like any other medical clinic, all it takes is one person ahead of you to ask too many questions and cause everyone afterwards to be delayed.I see lots of complaints here about lack of parking, but there is actually a second lot at the back. This never was an issue for me though because I always parked on the street for free a block over on the other side of the school. It's a short walk on a nice summer day, but be careful if it's cold and icy on the sidewalks.The people complaining about having to weigh themselves and having to walk paperwork to the desk themselves are unreasonable. Are you so irresponsible and incompetent at life that you can't handle a couple of simple tasks?

My name is Angela Lock. I just wanted to post about how amazing the care I received from this clinic was throughout my pregnancy. Dr. Patel and Pam were very caring. I also had the pleasure of interacting with a few other doctors and nurses throughout and always felt well taken care of, respected and listened to. When I went through my labour, Dr. Hwang was there, she made sure I knew what was going on, was extremely caring, and took time to speak to me after the birth of my daughter. Thank you to everyone at the clinic, from the receptionist (who learns your name from the start) to all the staff, you guys are amazing. Anyone who is referred to your clinic for their pregnancy is in very capable caring hands. The experience couldn’t have been better.
