I always want to like this place but rarely do. I like idea of a coffee roaster, smelling like roasting, coffee and the sounds of coffee shop....then you are handed a coffee so inconsistent with the amount of beans they are surrounded with. There are years worth of roasted beans in that place, they will grind 12 of those beans for your coffee.....lifeless, flat, odorless...tastes like warm coffee flavored tea. Good baking, that's what saves these places, elderly folk coming in for baking and awful coffee and unable to leave google reviews...

So much plastic - Epic fail!!!One of the first things I think of when I walk into a coffee shop and see every single solitary piece of food wrapped in plastic is; the food is not fresh. It's being kept longer than it should. The operators over order. It does not look appealing. The next thing I wonder about is how concerned the operator is with waste and the environment. I could not spend my money at this place.

It's the non-corprate, not-pretentious, quaint, calm, small town local coffee shop. Excellent small batch exotic coffee, roasted in house.The couches are really enjoyable to sink into and relax.

Such delicious Gluten Free options and the latte was perfect! It's so nice to have an affordable cafe that offers multiple dietary treat" options. The atmosphere was cozy

A great coffee shop in downtown Cranbrook.I have gone to this location a few times now and all of their choices are good. I have sampled a variety of specialty drinks, as well as some of their own roasted coffee and have yet to be disappointed. The baked goods taste home made and fresh.The service is fantastic with very knowledgeable staff. The sitting choices are also appropriate to suit all sorts of gatherings, there is something for everyone. The decor is quaint and some of it is for sale.The price is appropriate for a specialty coffee shop and not excessive for the quality.If you like their selection, feel free to buy a bag of your favorite roast so you can brew it in the comfort of your own home. Mind you, never have I felt un-welcomed to stay for however long i pleased, so it worked great for doing homework.I will return to this location and will continue to receive the same impeccable service and quality.

Friendly staff, delicious drinks, and cozy atmosphere. The serving sizes are great for the prices, and its a great place to go to study or draw. Would recommend for anyone looking to try some coffee or cocoa!

Great little cafe and bookstore in downtown Cranbrook. Picked up a tray of goodies for the amazing staff in the OR at the hospital today. Great selection of treats, and I wish I could report how great the Irish breakfast tea was, it smelled amazing but I left it on the top of the car and it spilled allover the outside (so much better than inside) staff was super friendly and they have a great selection of interesting books too. Thanks so much for the treats today. Love the names of some of the tea too. Put a big smile on my face this am.

I've tried to like this place so many times. But most recently ordered an iced, blended London Fog. What I received was literally luke warm milk (no ice), with flavorless whipped cream on top. It had absolutely no flavor whatsoever, not even the whipped cream. What a waste of money, I didn't even want to drink it. I've given this place a fair shot of tries and really want to support local over say, Starbucks, but they've really not made it with it to go there.

I had a bad experience. I walked in to see if anyone I knew was there. I was approached and the waiter says to me You have to have a coffee cause you can't just sit in here! What? I was talking to a friend when the owner come up to me and says I was mean to staff. So next time when I come just get a finger coffee. I took my cup and left. Never to go back. It was terrible experience. I won't return ever!!!
