While I got the love of my life from Pat and my berner Delco was with us for 9 1/2 years I would never recommend her as a breeder. She was very unprofessional and quite frankly rude. I had to put in a complaint with CKC to get my registration for my dog and on his 5th birthday when I called to share happy news she said to me “don’t expect him to be around much longer” it was like a giant clock was put over his head and I feared he would die much sooner than he did. There are many other reasons why I would not go there again. I hope and pray everyone else has a much better experience than I did. Love your babies and hug them tight for me!

Do your research before you buy from any breeder. If you want a Bernese mountain dog check Bernese mountain dog club of Ontario. We have had this breed for 30 years prepare to have your heart broken. Your dog will end up with cancer and usually dying before it is 10 years old, if you are lucky you will get 10 years.

I got my puppy from there! Love them, they had a great selection. It was puppy heaven for me. I think the owner has sold its business now to a new fellow who's breeding as well!

I had my beautiful dog from here 11 years ago and she was the best thing in the world.

On March 30th, 2007 we got our first Bernese Mountain Dog from Pat and her family. We named her April and she was the most well behaved, loving, caring animal there ever was. She made it to her 11th birthday and just after Christmas we had to have her put down. It was heartbreaking but it was expected. They are a breed that has a life span between 7-10 years. If you're lucky you'll get them for longer. Pat takes such great care with her pups and her dogs. We seen nothing but happy, sweet dogs running around the property. They have lots of land to run and play and the pups are socialized young. We are hopefully picking up our newest member of our family this Sunday and we can't wait. We know that Pat is a great breeder with a loving heart towards her animals.

I picked up my Bernese Yogi about 2 years ago. No health issues with him at all. had him checked for elbows and hips couple times with no problems. He is super well mannered and so easy going. Only barks when visitors come to the door so awesome on that one. I was lucky enough to get him at 4 months and he took zero effort to house train. Absolutely best pet one could ask for, maybe I got the best in the litter but I would recommend getting a BMD from Golden Breeze. I have had nothing but great things with my puppers. At 27 months he is about 30 to his shoulder and around 125 to 130 lbs

My family has had a very negative experience with Goldenbreez Kennel. We currently have an 11-month-old Bernedoodle who has several genetic health issues including elbow dysplasia and immune mediated poly-arthritis. We are disappointed in the owner Pat, whom we have e-mailed twice and called twice in regards to these issues over the past 2 months. Pat hasn’t had the courtesy to respond to any of our attempts to contact her for support. We would have appreciated the breeder to have the decency and respect to contact us back if she really cared about the dogs she breeds. We will continue to care for our baby the best that we can. It’s unfortunate that this breeder won’t acknowledge or reply to us. We have received word from a close friend that she received a reply immediately while we still wait 2 months for a reply.

Pat was great at answering all of my questions (and I had a lot!) She definitely knows the breed, and gave us a tone of information whitch helped since this was our first bernese mountain dog. Oakley is now 5 months old and is doing great. He's an eye stopper, and loves all the attention he gets from people on walks. Thanks again goldenbreez kennels!
