Back In Time Clocks
Kenneth provided us with a quote to service and repair our grandfather clock. He stuck to the quote and provided a detailed accounting of the repairs. When we picked the clock up, he took the time to walk us through the proper care and settings of the clock. It is now once again chiming and keeping time beautifully. It is the heart of the house. Kenneth is very knowledgeable, professional and generous with his time. A visit to his shop is truly a step back in time and an absolute treat to visit.

Kenneth has beautifully restored clocks that are in excellent working order when you get them home. I have purchased eleven clocks and they are all great. The selection of clocks to choose from is great. Worth a visit if you are looking for a clock from years gone by or need repairs on your special clock.

Back In Time Clocks
Ken has worked on two antique clocks that have been in my family for generations. Recently the pendulum broke off one of them. Upon inspecting it, Ken told me I could have the pendulum repaired for $150 or have a complete overhaul for $450. I opted for the complete overhaul. A couple months later the fusee spring broke. I took it in and told him the spring sounded like it had gravel in it when winding (a new characteristic since having it repaired). Ken denied touching the spring, but two months earlier, when I had picked it up, he had told me what a challenge it had been to rewind the spring. Lastly, Ken likened the clock to a Model A Ford, and asked me if I would use a Model A Ford as my daily driver (insinuating that I should not run it every day). If he had explained this to me before I shelled out $450 for the full overhaul, I might have gone for the cheaper fix. This morning he told me to take my business elsewhere, so I am now on the hunt for a reputable antique clock repairer. I am extremely disappointed in Ken, as he had won my trust.
