Inde-Art Furniture & Custom Cabinets

I would highly recommend Inde-Art to anyone seeking custom cabinets. Our condo unit was in need of storage space. My partner and I wanted something practical and unique, which led us to Inde-Art.From start to finish, Sorab and his crew were professional, efficent, and obviously talented at what they do. Sorab listened to our needs for the space and our sense of style. He also offered up great suggestions throughout. At the day of install the crew was absolutely amazing.

After seeing Inde-Art's work online, we contacted Sorab about creating some built-ins for a very old, very quirky, house. Sorab and his team designed custom built-ins for three different projects - each with its own challenges: uneven flooring, intricate crown moulding, and a bedroom wall with 3 awkward bends. Sorab took everything in stride, came up with creative solutions, and incorporated the style/functionality we wanted for each room. We now have a beautiful book display, a fantastic wardrobe, and collection of drawers for additional storage. We will definitely be going back to Inde-Art with any other custom projects!

We love our new vanity! We just renovated our bathroom and had to get a custom made vanity for the narrow and long space. It’s exactly what we wanted. Sorab was amazing to work with, from start to finish. He delivered it on time. He respected all COVID protocols while in my home. The vanity is oak with a white quartz top - a piece of (useable) art!

We hired Inde-Art to build a set of bookshelves for a personal library with a enclosed TV-unit. We are beyond happy with the results. The library looks amazing! We worked with Sorab for a few months on all the details of the design, and he made it happen! This was a major project for us in our new home and the experience of working the Inde-Art was great. I’ve worked with Sorab on two projects so far and both were excellent experiences! He built us our walnut vanity that I needed to be custom and I love it! He also built us some walnut shelves for another bathroom and installed them. We're so in love with our new walnut mid-century inspired bathroom vanity. Sorab was amazing to work with, answered all of our questions quickly, the craftsmanship is amazing and the piece was finished earlier than promised. We hired Sorab and his team to design and install some custom cabinets in our almost 100 year old home and we are very pleased with the results. The communication was great, the scheduling was precise and the job was done on time and on budget. And everything looks fantastic to boot! Highly recommended!

Inde-Art is the very best! We have a custom built kitchen we love, but which had certain cabinets that were falling apart. Inde-Art custom built new cabinets and frames which matched with the original cabinets perfectly. This was no small feat as the cabinet design included wainscotting. On top of that they modified the new cabinets to be more efficient by changing some shelves to drawers, including a lengthwise pantry pull out. Then they painted all the cabinets, matching the colours perfectly. As if that isn’t enough, they installed a vent for our new stove. The price was reasonable, the work excellent, they kept us apprised as to when the work would start and finish, and they cleaned up after themselves (who does that?). I cannot recommend Inde Art highly enough!

Sorab worked patiently with me to design and craft the perfect cabinet. I really wanted drawers, which were a bit tricky, but Sorab worked with me to give me exactly what I wanted. Sorab did a fantastic job with my bathroom vanity. He spent a long time going over details that I hadn’t thought through and came up with great suggestions about handles, wood type & grain, sizing, drawer, and overhang. All of these things greatly enhanced the end result.I had originally thought of buying an IKEA product, hacking it and buying custom fronts - sooooo glad I didn’t. The Inde Art approach is far superior.
