Comox Valley Dental Centre

All around excellent staff and dentistry. I live in Powell River and I will not hesitate to travel to Comox to see any of the staff at Comox Valley Dental.

Cleaning: worst cleaning ever. Hygienist kept bashing her instruments against my teeth, spraying my neck with water, telling me to swallow instead of using suction, was very rough with my gums. Her sharp nails would push on my chin as she used my face to rest her hands. Usually I can fall asleep with a teeth cleaning, this was stressful. Certainly will never see this hygenist again. Would not recommend for a cleaning.

I’m from the States, traveling through on a boat and a dental crown fell out. I called when the office opened, they worked me in within 2 hours and perfectly reseated my crown. Dr. Henning and staff were very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Because of their can do attitude we were able to resume our trip. I’m so grateful to them.

Great Dentist, excellent patient care, good explanation for my situations and options that I had, reasonable pricing!

Dr.Zoom, newly married, was very good. She was patient and kind and explained everything in detail as she went along. Her assistant was equally very efficient and kind.I am extremely fearful of dentists but felt safe with them. Had a very sore tooth pulled that was full of cracks. What I really liked was that she didn’t try to push expensive procedures on me. She explained all options and the pros and cons I felt well informed moving forward. I would go back to her.

Would give 6 stars if I could!! Incredible people!! I have a ridiculous phobia and anxiety when it comes to dental anything. Everyone from the receptionist, dentist, dental assistant, and hygienist I saw were very supportive, patient and understanding! They worked with me and my anxiety and explained everything to me as we went. Took little mini breaks when I needed. Hands down the best dental experience I have had. Highly highly recommend, especially for people who are uneasy about going to a dentist or get anxiety around it. They really go above and beyond to work with people. Super non-judgmental, and you can tell they really genuinely want to just give you the best care possible whatever that might look like for you!I really can't say enough good things about this clinic!!!

Katherine cleaned my teeth today and she did such a good job! She is so kind, put me at complete ease and did such an amazing job with my stubborn teeth. Thank you so much:)

Hands down, best dental office. The whole staff rocks, from Dr. Henning, Georgina to Miranda and Amber. They make everything so great, so great that you forget you're at the dentist office getting that cavity filled. Been a frequent flyer here for the last 13 years I think and I wouldn't go anywhere else.Would give the full 10 stars but Google only does 5.

The best dentist I've been too. I live in Powell River, and will take the ferry over to go here. The staff was great The dental assistant was amazing and helped relieve my anxiety, and the dentist himself was great. He explained everything to me. Highly recommend!

They were able to squeeze my (out of province) mother in when she had an incredibly painful infected tooth. My mum said her entire experience was great and everyone was so friendly. Thank you so much for taking such great care of my mum!
