Very cute interior, relatively slow service even though restaurant wasn’t full. The waitress never came back to check on us and we had to flag her down to get more tea. The food was tasty. We got the salmon bite appetizer and 4 rolls, which were all pretty good.

A colleague and I had dinner here tonight while in town on business. Oyshi has a very quaint atmosphere with only about 10 tables, 4 or 5 of them being private. Our server was very nice and friendly and the food absolutely delicious. Even though most tables were occupied we didn't experience any excessive wait times as other reviews mentioned, quite the opposite actually. I highly recommend!!

One of the most precious neighborhood sushi places which plates sushi rolls that are just about perfectly priced!! Their ricefree (red or yellow carpet) sushis are the best and my go to! Add a mini roll to it if you are too hungry! Friendly staff members :)

This place is a hidden delight. I loved the food here. There is such an authentic feel about this place and the people that work here/own it. Highly recommended if you want an authentic experience. I had 3 different types of sushis- shrimp, egg and imitation crab. The egg one was the best! And try the miso soup. It’s calming.

We come here every year when we stay in the area for work. The sushi is good but the service is never great, always seems to be too busy for them to be able to keep up and the wait time is long.

Great small cozy Restaurant. The Restaurant 4/5: Really cozy but a bit too small. But the food makes up for the lack of space and tightness. Gives it a bit of a vintage Japanese restaurant feel. The Service 4/5: waitress was really friendly and nice. I did get charged for an extra pop but I didn’t mind too much. The Food 5/5: Amazing food. Rolls were over size but who complains about more food. Fish was really fresh, along with the salad and miso soup. Sushi pizza wasn’t deep fried so that was great. Tempura had perfect batter and seasoning.Overall 4/5: Would come back and definitely recommend.

Small but friendly environment & atmosphere with some great sushi. Highly recommend the Oyshi roll, probably the best item on their menu!

Have been here several times. Sushi rolls were ok but the location is convenient, a good choice for quick dine-outs if you don't want to go far. They still don't serve Chicken Karaage, don't know what type of pride they are holding toward this. They don't really pay much attention to rice quality and seaweed, sometimes rice can be dry and seaweed may taste not fresh, but it's kinda hit-and-miss.

Really want to support local small restaurant, so figure I would try this since it is a block away from home. First impression the place is small and cozy. 2 men in the kitchen, one lady at the counter and another lady running around waiting the tables. Understandably it’s difficult for one person to serve 7 tables. So I didn’t say much even though it took over ten minutes for our orders be taken and water be served. Unfortunately the food was underwhelming. The maki rolls were acceptable, but the tempura batter was very thick and not crispy. Some sashimi was fishy. Others had too much connecting tissue. Overall not super happy with the food.

The place is definitely small and cozy. We had a very nice waitress. The food was good. I recommend against ordering single pieces of sushi or sashimi a la carte. It is a much better deal to get rolls or some kind of set of stuff.
