Battery World

I feel I need to share my experience I had here with Battery World Red Deer on June 11th 2019.I have worked with them in the past and have always been very happy with all aspects of my business dealings with them.I work in the flooring industry and use battery operated tools often. Battery World has rebuilt batteries for me before and I have always been impressed by the changes in battery technology. I get more power for longer for less money than going to the big box stores for a brand name battery!My most recent experience did not go as I had expected!!I took a battery in to be rebuilt for a Makita kit I have had for many years. I tend to take extreme care of my things, so they tend to last a long time.When I went in to pick up my battery, I noticed Krazy Glue all over the base seam of the battery. Looking closer I noticed the buttons that release the battery from the tool being used were filled with the glue and are unable to move. The casing is cracked and broken with missing pieces.I now can NOT remove the battery with out tools as the buttons no longer work!Now in Battery World's defense they did do all of this for me for free at no charge!!So, I sit here now wondering if I should be upset?Or should I be happy that they did this service for me for free at no charge?Disappointed but hopeful something can be done,

Albert took the time to explain to me the battery that fit my car (Group 51R) and the benefits of the 450 cold cranking amps. The price was as awesome as the service. Quality East Penn Pow-R-Surge battery with no core charge fee. Albert happily accepted my dead car battery and my household disposable batteries for recycling. It's a new business in Red Deer that is definitely worth checking out.

I shopped around for a watch battery. Went to 4 different places. This was the only place that had them. I'm pleased. They just opened in RedDeer and looks like they carry batteries for everything that uses a battery.

If you have a warranty problem, they need to hold on to your battery for 24 hours. This is a business taking advantage of you in a bad situation. So you cannot use your vehicle unless your willing to buy a new one.I have had 2 battery get a dead cell with in a year. The frist one they warranty, now this one they said they lost the paperwork and they need 24 hous. WILL NOT GO BACK.

Sells the best batteries in town because...USA and Korean made batteries fail the least (ask any certified battery recycler)This place sells top notch USA made batteries at a F as it price with good amp hour and cold cranking power. They are certified and you can find stats on them but then the store also sells them at a fair price.Good customer service as well.I called and researched every deep cycle found in town for my RV and these guys came out on top, then I walk into the store and they have Northstar starting batteries /aka the best vehicle battery in our climate.
