I had a flat tire (rear, of course) on my mature" ten-speed Miyata.. I bought this '80's bike about ten years ago. It had not been out of someone's basement and I love it. Where to turn? Google pointed me to Rich's Bike Repairs. It is now like new - 2 new tires

Brought 2 bikes over to Rich last week for a tune up. He was responsive, knowledgeable, and kind! Answered all my questions and tuned my bikes with a very quick turnaround. He had other bikes to work on as well and when I went to pick my bike, another customer arrived to get their bike fixed. He's a busy guy, but still responds really fast. I highly recommend him if you're looking for a bike tune up! Will definitely be going back.

Made an appointment online today and I showed up at the shop a few hours later. Rich was outside with a customer leaving and took my son's bike right away and fixed his flat tire on the spot, and checked the bike over for safety issues. He decided to do a quick tune up on the brakes and chain so my son would ride safely to school. My son was very happy when he tried his bike when I got back home, especially with the tighter brakes. Extremely reasonable price and high quality attention to details. Rich definitely has a passion for his work. Highly recommended for any of your bicycle needs. Honest, fair and VERY knowledgeable, I’m sure we will continue to be repeat customers. We priced out vs Giant last year where they told us it couldn’t repaired without all new parts and were so happy we found him as he was able to get bike back on the road without having to order a whole new wheel.And we just brought in our Thule chariot to be repaired and I’m so happy to have a working stroller again for the spring.

Brought my daughter's bike in to get a flat fixed. Rich not only took care of it quickly and at a reasonable price, but gave the bike a once over and mentioned that some spokes were missing from the front tire. He searched around for a new rim and said he'd get it in a few days. Brought the bike back and he had it done in 20 minutes! Did a few extra things to make sure the bike was fixed at no extra charge too.Rich is passionate about his hobby-turned-neighbourhood business. He is trustworthy and not out to gouge his clients, but rather to make sure people get their bikes fixed quickly and within budget so that they can get out and ride as soon as possible. All businesses should run this way, but they don't. So it's good practice to call out the ones that go above and beyond, and Rich certainly does that. I won't go anywhere else to get my bikes serviced.

I brought my back wheel to Rich thinking that I would have to replace the whole wheel but instead he fixed it quickly for a fraction of the price of a replacement. He was very responsive and I had it done with 2 days from my first contact, I was expecting to get it back in the spring, a few months from now. He knows his stuff and knew exactly what had to be done and had all the tools to do the job properly. Thanks for saving my wheel and my bike.

Extremely pleased with my experience here. Simple and easy online appointment booking through the website and Rich is very professional in his quality of work. Some bicycles can be very meticulous to fix and Rich takes the time to fix what is needed and communicate all the work that is being done. His pricing was more than fair.
