This course was built by the owner on an old dairy farm. It is not in the best shape. Greens are rough, tee boxes rough, but the scenery is beautiful, especially on the back nine. Bring lots of extra balls, and watch out for bears. The owner is very friendly, too. This course is worth the 15 minute drive from Highway 400. I have been golfing here for years.

My first time on a golf course was in 2018 at the scenic and beautiful Deer Run. I returned to the city and now golf as often as I can. This place is great if you value golfing in a calm, relaxed and fun environment. You won't have golfers hitting into you, or Marshall's pushing the pace. Bring your hiking feet, if you aren't able to get a power cart. The course looks to be getting in better shape every time I go back. Try keeping your ball in the fairway as there can be some deep rough.Great bang for your buck!

I am giving this course a 3 star review, but only because we went on a rainy Sunday morning and the course was borderline unplayable. Due to the clay its built on, the course does not drain well. That combined with it being slightly overpriced for the level of course it is. If you do play this course, either wait for a drought, or bring your rubber boots. Positives: Very friendly clubhouse staff. Negatives: Poor Conditions (greens, tee boxes, fairways, and golf carts)

Sad to say that the course is closed. Couldn't reach anyone there, drove by today and grass is grown and road in is closed. Sad that it is gone, nice affordable place to golf with kids learning the game.

This was the first time golfing at this course. With the Ahmic club now closed, it is great to have a 9 hole course with carts, only 40 minutes away with a great price and geared for beginners. We had a wonderful welcome from the host, and the grounds staff were busy beavers trying to get the course watered and maintained. It does need some work, but we understand there is not a guaranteed future. We hope that at least the 9 holes stay for many years. Thank-you for the course, and we certainly had fun with a foursome beginners. We will be back

I give this a 3.5 star simply because the service & friendliness of the pro shop was excellent. The course itself needs a lot of work & Im sure the management knows this. It just needs time to blossom. Pricing is very reasonable. Also it's a great place to take kids!

This course has fantastic scenery! Enjoyed it more as a hike through the wilderness with golf holes in between but it was a great experience and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Don’t expect impeccable grounds-keeping but still quite playable.

Great little 9-hole course. Perfect for beginners or those that just want to have a fun time with some friends.

Went out for a bit of fun during our vacation and was extremely happy with our experience. We had a group of 6 including a 10 year old and a 6 year old, the course was not busy at all and they super nice guy running the course let us all go together. The course needs a little work but for the price it was great. Can't wait to go back.
