Castle Carpet One in Parksville truly stands behind their products and customers.We had some issues with areas of our wood floor.For over a year Castle One Carpet dealt with the manufacturer on our behalf.They tried different approaches to rectify the problem but eventually had to replace some boards and refinished the area.Very please with their support and workmanship in restoring our wood floors.

TERRIBLE customer service! Would rate a zero if it was an option.I ordered tile from Castle for a new bathroom and was told by my installer that I would likely be short 3 boxes. I called Castle to order 3 more boxes and was quoted a price which was almost double the $ per SF than what I had paid for the exact same tile originally (way above and beyond supply chain inflation). I was shocked at the price increase but that was “the best they could do” and they wouldn’t move on price. I felt like I had no choice but to go ahead with it as I didn’t want to run short on tile and lose my tiler do another job while waiting for the tile to arrive.When I picked up the tile, there was one broken which I left at the store. I said I would see how much tile was left over and told Landon I was fine with squaring up for the broken tile at the same time.As it turns out I had ordered enough tile originally and did not need the additional 3 boxes ordered. I returned the 3 boxes to the store in the middle of July. I was told by Landon that there would be a restocking fee and that the shipping charge would not be reimbursable. I was fine with that. He said he would call the tile company and get back to me with what the restocking fee was. He never followed through on his word and I have yet to see a refund of any sort which includes the broken tile (which equates to over 4% of the order).Over the last 5 months I have been calling and/or emailing Landon for an update as to the status of the restocking fee and my refund. Excuse after excuse (including blaming his coworker Amy for not getting back to me) and I have STILL not received a refund to date.

Great service from Ryan and the team at Castle, they came in and replaced our old carpet with this wonderful linoleum, we are beyond happy with the outcome. Can't wait until we need more floors done so we can use Castle again!

Absolutely delightedWe just recently decided to replace our laminate flooring in the kitchen and hallway and I can't tell you enough how happy we are. Britt, the assistant managed was a delight to work with, so helpful and friendly and the two young men who installed our flooring (Les and Colin) did an amazing job. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Castle Flooring to anyone. Thank you all so much for a job well done.

We dropped into Castle Carpet several months ago to inquire about replacing carpet in several rooms of our house. We found the staff there very helpful and friendly and Landon arrived punctually to give us a quote. We couldn't have been more pleased with the price and the service. Installers Chris and Aaron were hard-working and accommodating. We plan to have more flooring done in the future and will definitely use Castle Carpet again! Thank-you Landon - we are very pleased.

Kindness of a stranger. We walked into Carpet One, a store we had never been to before since we are new in town. Our very elderly cat needed carpet for his stairs. Landon didn't hesitate to help us and we are very grateful! Definitely sending our friends to Carpet One.

We Couldn't Be Happier!Early November, we walked into the showroom at Castle One, met Amy Pletz and got right down to business. She looked through photos of the color scheme for our soon-to-be renovated and newly purchased home. Product suggestions were provided based on budget and for what appealed to us. We were overwhelmed by the available flooring selection!With a practiced eye to compliment our colors, Amy was instrumental in identifying the perfect engineered hardwood floor. Enter Steve Greekas, who has a long nuts and bolts" history with wood. He explained the difference between the various engineered hardwood and vinyl products and answered our installation and other questions. We had a good connection with Amy and Steve

Other than a little hitch with being bumped for another client when our carpet job was almost done, our experience was great! Gordon, the salesperson was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Gave perfect advice. Blair, the lead installer was awesome. Did an excellent job with the seams matching perfectly. Tyler, the assistant installer was great too. Both were polite, cheerful, careful and left our home in stellar condition. Would highly recommend.
